I really love this set of paints, this orimary colors are really nice together. The red is so powerful its easy to add to much to a color mix. The ultramarine and caput mortum is just soo good ✨

Great advice for creativity in general… get them out and play. My favourite colour in this set is the Capet Mortem, even on its own. I got this set in the fall a while ago, and the colours were perfect for the season. Muted and intriguing. I definitely want to try more in the range. 🙏

I don't like to make charts, so I only do like "half charts" and only if it's under 10 colors XD I will do pages of mixes though, if I'm curious about a specific color array.

I had this set when RS were first released then added one of the named sets. Have never regretted buying them and actually rather like slightly odd colour triads that are not CMY. I am not a fan of red on the whole but you can do things with it. I love your choice of orange tones in the one painting, but the greens in the other are great. The cats as ever are adorable. I have a new cat myself, a very fine chap, we rescued him from abandonment, but he still loves an adventure.

I was a little hesitant to buy a lot of pans so I opted for the starter palette. After I tried this small palette, I bought a lot more colors. I like their vibrancy and that you can layer them.

The cat that you drew has the exact same markings and colors as a cat I lost back in 2015, I kept looking at it and it clicked. I remember drawing her using similar colors, she was peeking out behind a bush (it wasn't very good since I didn't have as much experience back then lol).

The white cat with the bits of tabby is inspired by a cat that visits me regularly :3 It makes for such cute markings

Hi Eva, I love your videos and your paintings as well. I have just been looking at the Roman Szmal❤❤❤ pallets and trying to decide between them so this video was very timely. I do love the mixes and the muted colors, but I think I will probably get either the travel pallete or one of the larger palletes just so I have a little more variety.

Controlvertial opinion - I like these primary colors over the CMY primary colors. These colors have depth and are rich in tone, and the CMY colors look very lacking in depth and substance (to me, my opinion). I have neither the time nor the patience to sit there and mess around with CMY colors to get the rich, decadent tones from them that I like painting with. I would buy this set but I already have so many Roman Szmal and other paints that I simply don't need them. Hoarding paint is fine, I just feel bad if I don't use them and they just sit there. Thank you for your reviews, I always learn something and love your kitty illustrations.

I agree with you about hoarding paints; I have a lot but I also use them so I don't feel bad about the stash XD To nerd out about primary triads for a second: I really love having CMY (and maybe black) if I have no idea what I'm going to paint and have to bring a limited selection of colors. I know I can make ANY colors with those four. If I want to make something more interesting and have a vague plan of the result I want, my "primary triad" will be something very different.
