Vila Armira is the largest and most beautiful residential Roman complex in Bulgaria.
It is one of the most interesting sights of Bulgaria.
It was built in the first century and belonged to a wealthy Thracian ruler.
Residential part of the villa was insulated. All the floors were heated. Almost in the central part of the villa is a large swimming pool in which water is also heated.
There is a water and sewage system.
Even by today's standards, the villa is very luxurious.
In all corridors and floors in the premises there are very beautiful Roman mosaics.
The walls were faced with marble.
The roof was supported by beautiful marble columns.

Vila Armira ist der größte und schönste römische Wohnkomplex in Bulgarien.
Es ist eine der interessantesten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Bulgarien.
Es wurde im ersten Jahrhundert erbaut und gehörte einem wohlhabenden thrakischen Herrscher.
Wohnteil der Villa war isoliert. Alle Etagen waren beheizt. Fast im zentralen Teil der Villa befindet sich ein großer Swimmingpool, in dem auch Wasser erhitzt wird.
Es gibt ein Wasser- und Abwassersystem.
Selbst nach heutigen Standards ist die Villa sehr luxuriös.
In allen Korridoren und Fußböden in den Räumlichkeiten gibt es sehr schöne römische Mosaiken.
Die Wände waren mit Marmor verkleidet.
Das Dach wurde von schönen Marmorsäulen getragen.
Das Objekt verdient Aufmerksamkeit.

Very nice video. The owner must have been very wealthy. Just the mosaic floor - that would have taken hundreds of hours to create, and also maintain it.
