@2:51 same i grew up playing ROTK 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 13 the best so far are 10 & 13 for me

I started with 7 as well! Definitely fell in love with the series as well as Nobunagas Ambition. Its been a long time Since i've played 10 but God i did love it. I think we're both in the same boat. 10 & 13 take it for me. However 8 holds a special place in my heart for the fact that you got to be a free officer. Theres a few games that got me interested in series like this. Ogre Battle, Command and Conquer, WarCraft & Starcraft (n64) , General Chaos to name a few. But the one that really blasted me into loving these types of games was hands down GemFire for the SNES, what a great game that i'd love to see a remake of.

That’s crazy I played gemfire ages ago on an emulator and couldn’t remember the name until u mentioned it I don’t remember much about it but I do remember starting in the top left island was op

@@cyrusexile1636 yeah 8 can be a free officer as well but not as complicated as 13 does though if you have the PUK & rotk 13 with vans editor i can make special bonds that are stronger than sworn sibling (the strongest non historical officer bonds), yeah this genre (historical simulation strategy) is very captivating for me as well.

@@markengstrom3494 If i remember correctly that was the erin family ..maybe. haha. I just remember you'd sometimes get the events where a pastva (Looked like a Lapris from pokemon) would join and you'd have a OP 5th unit.
