Romance or Friendship | Difference ✧ [Taekook/Vkook | Body Language Analysis]

HIIIIIII! I don't know what is going on, but i always have technical difficulties, this was ended on Friday but I didn't save it, and my trashy computer closed Sony Vegas and then when i thought my last hope was still alive, and that SV would restore the last file, it didn't and.... yea, i had to check it all over again but it ended having some awful grammar mistakes or spelling that i had already edited and failed to correct in the second try. But nevermind, i won't renderize all over again cause it takes like 5 hours, just ignore the mistakes :') I purple you 💜
Q: I think Jungkook is dominant and V is submissive.
First of all, I'm basing my claims on their non-verbal cues, and even their subconscious minds, in here and the last video (Festa 2017) Taehyung is showing much more dominant cues. Tae shows natural dominance sometimes, on the way he stand, the way he approach, the way he hug or shake hands, the way he flirts with JK, but i'm not saying he can't show submissivness as well. In the case of Jungkook, he is not a person who shows this "natural" dominance (i mean, based on his BL he is not like this, he is a more withdrawn, introverted person) Dominance shows high confidence and the feel of power/superiority over others, he shows this when he's being competitive, but he's not competing all the time, these are moments. He does not show dominance on his more "inherent/common" gestures or on a more relaxed or natural behaviour cause he is shy, and insecure. He is been gaining confidence lately, but it still not enough, and simply he is not like that. Taehyung has been always a dominant person but can also get very shy of Jungkook sometimes and he knows the limits. Jungkook shows submissive body language cues when he is confronted to Tae dominance, and "unconcious" submit (shyness, submissive sexual arousal cues, vulnerability and even obey without hesitation, I can prove this to you with professional back up if you're interested, btw) but somehow he is probably like the voice of reason on this relationship. So it is a complement, for example, the way they hold hands, predominantly Taehyung is usually the one that have his hand facing downward and JK upward, or in here, at min 10:15 the hand in front is the one submissive since it is searching "to be protected by the other" and sub partner feel more comfortable that way, this could show that Taehyung is the dominant in the relationship but we also have that Taehyung is more of a wild spirit and can be kinda reckless and too rebel, he often defies the rules and break them if he wants to (another dominant thing), so, JK would be the one who "stop" him of not doing stupid things, the voice of reason, as he said "the hyung", the one who puts the limits. JK can show as a very possessive and headstrong/obstinate person, but not dominant, and also, he puts the limits on how far Tae could dominate him (as i've seen on the Festa video), if he doesnt want to be dominated, he simply won't allow it. And when JK is jealous, and Tae notice, he gets nervous as well and stop what he was doing, there's when he show this submissive cues, like humble attitude and whipped boyfriend. Their relationship on terms of decision making is equal, they have different types of power in the relationship, but again on the videos i'm just pointing their non-verbal dominant and submissive cues, and how often they express it, not just my personal opinion on this. Anyway, if you want me to analyse a video where you think JK is showing his dominance over Tae, send it to me, cause I'd love to analyse that ;)

And he’s an aggressive player when he does compete, in an inconspicuous manner. But I can see the childish side jungkook only brings out with his hyungs. I am a psychology major and this is my second year. Also I self educated psychology for six years. The facts you provided are quite true. But it doesn't applied in some of the contexts. But that doesn't mean I am denying any of Taekook's 'romantic' relationship. Because I myself analysed it and there is sure something between them. I always do micro analysis, because that could come off accurate. Also this information might be unnecessary, but I do analyzed on who would dom and sub, or top or bottom. I even talked to some of gay men for opinions and most of them believe Tae bottoms. I will provide further facts if you ask me. But I am sure this is not very necessary and also not completely accurate. But I don't ship others... Jikook are having brotherly relationship and vmin are best friends. Jimin admires Jeongguk like a brother, he is just proud of him and want to show off the maknae to everyone he grown up with. I believe sope is a fanservice. Yoonmin...? Eventhough we get less Taekook moments nowadays, but once they do show it to us, I sense its authenticity through their eyes and gestures. 😊😊😊 But what's different in their interactions lately is the mannerism is more like a couple who is in a stabil & trustworthy relationship. They don't need to cling to each other anymore everytime they're on-camera. Taekook hv passed the "romantic stage" and they're now in the "commitment stage" of their relationship. I don't worry about jikook even a bit because they do have a strong non-sexual bond. Yes, it seems like they're always together filming each other & stuff. But knowing JK's private nature, he seems to only reveal (from his videos) what he thinks the army should know. And he clearly wants us to see jikook moments and divert our attention from Taekook. We've seen many times JK was caught taking pics & videos of Tae (often with a surprised reaction when caught red-handed hahahaha) but we rarely got to see them. Instead we get plenty of Jimin 😂. JK is more careful & cautious compared to Tae when it comes to keeping their relationship private. So openly showing jikook is a good distraction! But why Taekook keep it a secret? Well BTS is essentially a boyband and much of its appeal is creating a fantasy to millions of people that they're desirable. Taekook coming out as a couple will gain some support but will kill the desirability factor for most of its audience. So let's just ignore the Taekook deniers coz we know that we're dealing with REAL LOVE that has grown so much that it no longer needs to be constantly expressed with on-camera skinships. 😎

Thanks for the analysis! But you have to remember that body language only plays a part in decoding situations and is not the total truth. I feel like because you concentrate so much on body language alone without reading the whys behind it as well you don't get the total picture.. For instance, Tae was trying to act as though the wasn't afraid, because he wanted to appear brave in front of Jungkook who doesn't have many fears lol which is his reason for adopting certain postures. And at 7:42 JK wasn't just 'Happy AF' for no reason. He laughed because he and the rest knew that Tae was lying, albeit badly, about not being scared. Also, JK was smiling more because he was 1. looking forward to the rides A LOT 2. He knew that Tae was in a vulnerable position because of his fear of heights and was being encouraging 3. To cheer Tae up. When someone is relaxed they smile a lot but when someone is tense they don't smile. Simple. It wasn't because of dominance or anything like that in this case. You also didn't include the moment where JK decided on what his and Taehyung's respective positions would be without consulting Tae at all in the first game. That was a very take charge move.. Just wanted to add these things even though I'm only 5mins in :)

Thanks for the suggestion, hun. And I did pointed out that Tae was fearful and he tried not to show that, and well, that "happy af" was just a summarise the whole emotion since it wasnt the main situation i wanted for you to notice in that moment, and i didnt want to point out that they were laughing at Tae, cause it was evident and didn't found necessary to mention it, cause we all know that was what happened, i'm more focused on showing what their bodies are telling, their emotions and subconscious mind. And that dominant cues, were cause i found a pattern of dominance cues, and cause Taehyung is a natural dominant person (so, i signalized that too, but for you to judge by yourself that it can be highly possible, it's not just here that i see dominant cues on him, and not just toward JK. Maybe i'll make a video showing how to spot that :3) i explained that he was hidding his fears, but he also showed fearlessness and high confidence while talking, i didn't see he was lying about that, and even proved that, cause he FACED a phobia without making a sound (thats no joke, requires gut), so, it's not just "faking" fearlessness to appear tough, he IS really strong-willed and tough. This is my point of view 🤔

In Taekook We Trust I see what you're saying. But the point I'm making is that dominant body language does not always equate to someone being the dominant one in a situation. Example: workplace interview with superior and subordinate employee. The superior would avoid crossing their arms because they are the ones in control and are relaxed, versus the subordinate who is nervous and crosses their arms after the handshake. So is simply crossing the arms a sign of dominance? No. In fact it's a sign of protection. Tae definitely was brave, but body language alone doesn't automatically equate to dominance. By observing what people don't do you can also draw conclusions, which is why I mentioned Jk and the rest laughing when Tae was trying to seem unafraid. Because Jungkook knew that Tae was anxious his eyes then widened afterwards, meaning that he was just trying to show support and indicate that he was not mocking Tae's being afraid. Therefore, it was not that Jk was in a submissive position and Tae the dominant one. In fact the opposite was true in this situation. I'd just like to point out that Jungkook is also dominant, by the things that he doesn't do. You can't just say one person is more dominant based on a few body language signs without reading the context as a whole. Furthermore did you see what I wrote about Jk deciding for both of them their positions? You didn't address that :)

at 10:21 i know this is a sign of attraction i can relate. I will now explain whenever i am with my friend and the person i currently had mutual feelings for (we both liked each other) When it was time to sleep my hand naturally sticks out and so does his (wow rebecca is somewhat straigh yea surprising) but when our hands touched we immediately went closer together and i rested my hand on top of his hence our joke (4:33 was born (i hope none of my friends see this or they will know exactly what im talking about even if they domt recognize my yt name)) But the submissive person hand would subconsciously rest in front ir untop of the dominant persons hand. Notice that Taehyung moves his headband back to his neck, where it was originally before RM moved it. Jungkook's headband appears on his neck around the same time as well. This reflects the "mirroring BL" mentioned a lot in these videos. Jungkook was probably trying to match with Taehyung and subconsciously moved his headband to be the same as Taehyung's.

BTS ARMY he said that Tae and JK are definitely in relationdship. They just trying to hide it but it they doing a terrible job of it.
