Pretend to be a doctor or some profession that is lucrative. They immediately try to get off the dating site and they address you as dear or queen.

I recently accepted a oil rigs engineer as he has required a few time to be friend with him, since then we has been sent chatted everyday for about 2 months at first we introduce each other and he said he is a professional engineer from San Jose, He has a big house, boat, luxury cars and has worker work for him in the household and a Philanthropist. Now he has a 3 months contract working in oil rigs offshore in Italy, after about 1 month he told me he can’t sleep due to workload and his blood pressure he needs listen music to calm him down then want me to purchase iTunes $200 gift card, i told him can buy online he said not allow and bad internet, so I though i will my risk such small amount and try. after few weeks he keep complain his BP put him down and he in directly want me give him money to buy medicine, at time i though something was seriously wrong and disappointed and upset. I told myself he might be scam after we happily with each other. I refused to give him money that time. H was then silent for a while.

I am pretty sure someone tried to catfish me right here on YT. I had made a comment on a cat video and a person answered me and asked a question, I politely answered, then followed a few wired nonsense comments like "lol really? " and so on even though I hadn't made further comments, then a request to go to WhatsApp for further questions. I smelled a scammer and politely answered I am not interested.
