OM Gosh, watching your video made me laugh! I married a Czech man 34 years ago and there is much truth in this. Cultural differences between US and Czech Republic are different but it took me watching this video that let me breath a sigh of relief, It’s all good and it’s not me! And yes, the Mama hotel makes me want to puke, thank god we are miles away so I have only seen it a couple of times. Ano, přesně to, co říkám. Kdyby americká manželka zjistila, že český manžel nepere, neumývá nádobí a ani jí neuvaří, tak ho vrátí mamince. České maminky to všechno umí tak dobře, TAK PROČ TO SYNY NENAUČÍ ? Moji vnukove v San Diegu (7 a 9) už se v tom zdokonalují. Postarají se o nádobí, uvaŕi si snídaně a upečou bábovku.

Ono to fakt s nadhledem nějak všeobecně sedí. V čem jsem se nepoznal sám, tak jsem v tom poznal někoho z mého okolí. A upřímně jsem se i zasmál, opravdu fajn video. Nevím jak to máte, ale jestli nemáte české občanství, tak doufám, že jej dostanete co nejdříve. Je to opruz s úřadama u nás, ale na druhou stranu jsem rád, že naše občanství nedostane každý, kdo jej vyžaduje. Vy si jej plně zasloužíte, pokud už nemáte. A vítejte, ten široký americký úsměv, i když je to tak nějak z části přetvářka, tady opravdu hodně chybí...

2:31 as a Czech for Foreigners teacher (and a person in a relationship with someone who is not Czech), for many people it is not a great idea to be a teacher to your significant other :) Czech is grammatially based so correcting mistakes is a very specific process (should be focused solely on the matter currently discussed in class -e.g. accusative etc). Lexical questions is a different story ("What is this called?" "a table") but from my experience ppl often want you to correct their grammar and that is not wise, good for their Czech OR sustainable..OR sexy
