Pretty amazing how Maurice sings the high tenor harmony, then drops down to the lower baritone notes! He switched on “Run to Me” also…from singing lower in unison with Robin on his verse, then going to high tenor on the chorus. Amazing talent!

Maurice, like his brothers, was an amazing talent. Barry said in multiple interviews that Maurice could play almost any instrument he put his hands on.

That's high class vocal ability Maurice was known for, he can do with his voice whatever he wants : it was flexible, going from bass to bariton and to high key as a tenor, big range of his voice and very velvety quality of his voice. Nice and smooth. Maurice did it brilliantly. Olways in balance with the other singer. You always want to hear him more, but he was keeping that balance almost hiding behind melody to complimenting his beloved harmony. Oh, I ❤️ him!

People started to rediscovering Bee Gees music (especially during Covid-19 lockdown). During 70th Bee Gees were bullied and ostracized. Many people didn't know about them and very surprised by listening Bee Gees. Some people thinking this song was written by the Carpenters. Surprise, surprise!

Patricia franke. I wish too. I love combination of Maurice and Barry's voices better then Barry and Robin's. Somehow nature of their voices more compatible and balanced than with Robin. Robin had very specific vibrato. In romantic songs it was perfect.

Fun fact... Kenny Rogers asked Barry to write him a song. He knew Barry had a gift! Barry said no! Instead, he would write Kenny an ALBUM!!! This is one of the songs from that album! Also, if you have the album Kenny Rogers Greatest Hits; most of the songs on it were written by Barry Gibb!!! So when the photo of Barry with Kenny popped up, I wondered how many people knew this secret. I've known it over 30 years! I was a DJ at a country station in the early 90s!😁

I always felt that both Barry and Moe had great country voices. There's a video of them singing with Glen Campbell and Willie Nelson and I couldn't believe the voices I was hearing they were perfect they could have had a country and western career. Robin not so much you he's not into country and western, but Barry and Moe were. Great song I'll be back to listen to more.

I love this song their voices are so unique as they are. Always been a fan of the Bee Gees also Andy Gibb. I am still blown away with the amount of songs they wrote. Many unreleased songs in the mix. They were so unfairly pitted as disco they weren't trying to be disco and the back lash hurt them in so many ways. They again got up did other songs for people because DJs wouldn't play their music. They eventually came through this tough time to continue with their beautiful music. I love all of the brothers, they had their own personalities and all were a valuable asset to the group. Bee Gees music forever!!!

Maurice was very underrated for his singing ability as well as his innate sense of harmony and to know exactly when and where to come in. He was also the master of most musical instruments. In my opinion, the brothers could not recapture the essence of the Bee Gees without Maurice. He was the coolest of all 4 of the boys, in my opinion. I miss him everyday ❤❤

Without taking anything away from The Beatles, "The Fab Four" made some incredible (and some not-so...) music for 7 1/2 years; these guys (Bee Gees)? Five DECADES worth of hit after hit after hit after ... The undisputed troubadours of soft Rock, Pop, Rock, Ballads, Country, Disco and, well, these guys - there was no musical genre they did not excel at. Their harmonies? Everly Brothers plus one! 'Nuff said! One of a kind ..., NEVER AGAIN! The Beatles? A distant "second!"
