I gave the first one 2.75 stars. (I rate low though, I've only given a handful of 5 stars ever.) I wasn't wowed, but was intrigued enough to continue the series. I liked the first part of this book too, but it got too predictable and the characters were giving me anxiety. 😅

@@MidknytOwl Makes sense to me! I think I gave the first one 3 stars. So I'm not necessarily expecting the second book to suddenly sweep me off my feet. Just hoping for a good time. We'll see how my anxiety fares!
