It sounds like Italian because Romanian is a Latin language just like Italian, French and Spanish.

Loving the content, a lot of travel creators are relatively fluent in the language of the country they visit, but you gave it a very real and honest perspective. I feel like I wouldn't feel scared being there not knowing the language now

the father of that Hungarian king was Romanian

His father was Iancu de Hunedoara.

King Matthias is one of the most respected Hungarian kings from the 15th century. He was actually born in that town (Cluj-Napoca/Kolozsvár) which belonged to the Hungarian Kingdom for most of the history. Hungary had more than two third of its territory annexed after the first world war.

yep, partialy true, but most of the population in there were romanians, you can't deny that, and it wasn't a part of Hungary for the most part of History, it was during the Austro Hungarian empire, before that it was Valahia, before that Dacia, which streched further into the Hungrian territory. But that's all part of history now, i have lots of good hungarian ethnic friends and i grew up with lots of them as my freinds and brothers. So after some bloody history, and everyone claiming their own truth, still there can be Harmony.

@@stefro007 Even historians debate some of these 'facts'. Everyone has their own truth. Despite the forceful deportation of Hungarians with the purpose of lowering the high rate of them in certain areas, even up to this date there are territories in Romania with Hungarian majority villages. But of course, what's done is done and I also support harmony and love above all.

This guy is reckless... slow down and show some respect
@tiko46218 күн бұрын
Agree he should slow down a bit, was running into everyone. Also should probably learn atleast a little bit of the language. Going somewhere and asking someone “do you speak english” as the first thing you say, won’t get you nearly as far as learning how to ask in their language if they know any English.
@evanmaroge28387 күн бұрын
I should slow down. But, what do you mean show some respect? I have a ton of respect to anyone I speak with. :) You misread somehow.

@@evanmaroge2838 Next to the lady in the pink, you pushed yourself forward over her to run the camera over everybody's head to film your content. Slow down. For your content, it's not like you pay them to participate.... they are unwillingly or willingly your content. Be more careful. No sharp elbows.

The rest of Romania is great but .. No English in the best of it.
@evanmaroge28387 күн бұрын
idk what you mean by the rest of Romania. But, in my experience, I noticed that Romanians are VERY educated. Most not only speak English and Romania, but also Italian or another language.

how is it SO different?

I'll talk about it in a video but 1. They're friendlier to strangers. 2. Smile way more than other Europeans. 3. Show Way more emotions. You can tell when they're annoyed easily. They wear their emotions on their sleeves. 4. The traditional values are more prominent. 5. The vibe of the city is just different. So many ways. Romania is very very unique:)

Romanians are NOT in love with themselves but when they hang the loundry on the line they think about the colors and compoisition. I love Romania.

@@evanmaroge2838 I don't think there's a huge difference between it and other Eastern European countries. The most obvious difference is that they speak a Romance language rather than Slavic. Moldova should be part of Romania - the only reason why it's not is because it was artificially separated by Russia who continue to meddle in its affairs and make sure that there's no reunification between the two.

@@eccIefechanit s just another vibe, it feels so special, it s hard to explain until your are not in Romania
