hey i just got my Yamaha silence, how would you compare it with your Godin?

I would say that the colour of the sound is mostly the same, but the pickup is different. On Yamaha you have just one pickup for all te strings so the volume of each string is not the same.. especialy on the basses, and the gain is much lower then the Godin pickup. On Godin, you have a pickup for each string, so the sound is balanced and is much stronger.. more volume. Buuuuut both of the guitar are great and enjoyable to play. Congrats' for your new guitar!
