Question, is it possible that Christ came only for the lost sheep of the house of Israel, but there were other sheep He had that were not of that fold- and those people were Jews who had stepped away from the culture, were scattered abroad and weren’t following Jewish customs? That those people were the “Gentiles” Paul was sent to- NOT random pagans with absolutely no Jewish heritage? Meaning that all his epistles are technically for those lost non-practicing Jews and not complete pagans like you and me?

@@goblintown Interesting point. I don't see myself as pagan and don't see Jews today as bible Israelites. Body of Christ is God's chosen people. Regarding Christ coming for his lost sheep seems to refer to saving as many Israelites before the old covenant ended in 34AD. Was about the remnant. He was the messenger of the new covenant. Gospel went to Jews first then Greeks. Abraham was elected on faith and was born pagan. His father worshipped other gods. So I believe God selects righteous people. What you should ask is how do you know you are not an Israelite? I can't trace my heritage more than a 100 years. Jewish heritage from first century was only a small percentage of ethnic Israel. Not that I believe it matters today. Grace is for all who accepts Jesus Christ.
