Romans Chapter 14 is a crowning Message of Grace in practical Christian living and witnessing. "Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. I feel very sad for those precious people who have denigrated Pastor Swindoll's sermon. His preaching is the truth and he tells it like it is! We in 2022 are in danger of a rogue Administration with the Government thart we have now. Pray 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

sonofthunder 333, Brother, You have the right given you by God and His son Jesus Christ to have your own belief.. forcing others to believe what you believe is just as wrong as others forcing you to believe what they do. Killing people because they do not believe what you believe for either belief is still wrong... God gave the option to people to believe. Isiah 1:10-20

We are called to believe the testimony of God That he sent his only son, his only begotten Son into the world to save sinners. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. Galatians 5:13-18: “For you were called to freedom, BRETHREN; ONLY DO NOT TURN YOUR FREEDOM INTO AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FLESH, but through love serve one another. DO NOT THINK THAT YOU CAN SIN AND GET AWAY WITH IT. New International Version Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. King James Bible For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. . . . If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. The law is a destroyer. You either trust in the Finnished work of Christ or you don't. THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND .. If you trust in your own works for salvation You are not saved. If you practice good works because you know you are saved that is ok because you are not doing it to get saved, but because you are a new creation in christ and that is your new life ( nature) and bearing fruit is a gift from God produced by the Holy Spirit who lives in you. No one lives the Christian life to get saved, they live it because they are saved. The ones who try to live the Christian life and are not saved will find themselves doing works in order to be saved. (They are the self righteous) They are the ones that will find themselves saying what is written. King James Bible Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? The the Lord will tell them plainly I never knew you. The lord is looking for true believers People that would worship him in truth and in spirit. No one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. Born from above. God gives this gift to any one that will want it because they know that they need it. New International Version On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” If you think that you are healthy when it come to keeping the law And that you are OK, pretty good,not that bad, or that you do not need to be saved because you are a good person. You have no part with him. THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND. New International Version He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” New Living Translation “But cowards, unbelievers, the corrupt, murderers, the immoral, those who practice witchcraft, idol worshipers, and all liars-their fate is in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” New Living Translation And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. You are in darkness if you think that you can add anything to the gift of God which he has given you through the finnished work of his Son. For those that believe the Spirit of God lives in you.

Romans 14 is not about freedom to do what we want it was a dispute between converted Jews and Gentiles followers of Jesus, it was about eating meat that was sacrificed to pagan gods and what day to fast (fasting) not about the Sabbath nor permission to eat unclean animals, it was about faith in Jesus not freedom to do away with God's law this will explain. On Romans chapter 7 talks about the law of commandments, verse 4 we died to the law through the body of Christ, verse 7 Is the law sinful? No, verse 10 it say the commandments point out sin, verse 12 the law (commandments) holy, righteous and good verse 14 the law (commandments) are spiritual and he Paul says that we are flesh sold as a slave of sin, he couldn't be obedience to God's eternal law the commandments. Verse 22 in his mind he delights in God's law, verse 23 he talk about a second law, the law of sin, verse 25 we are delivered by Jesus, in his mind he is a slave of God's law the commandments and in his flesh a slave of sin. Romans chapter 8 verse 1 no condemnation to those in Christ verse 2 He free us with the law of the spirit from the law of sin and death. Verse 3 the law was powerless against the flesh chapter 7 verse 14 a spiritual law and a person with out the Holy Spirit (in the flesh) could not follow the law. Continuing on verse 3 He condemned sin in the flesh by His sacrifice in the likeness of sinful flesh verse 4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law could be fully meet in us who do not live according to the flesh but according to the spirit (free will your choice) again chapter 8 verse 2 He free us through the Holy Spirit from the law of sin and death, He didn't free us from the Holy, spiritual, good law the commandments described on chapter 7 verses 7, 12 and 14. Our freedom is from sin and death as long as we live in obedience to God's law by living in the spirit with our mind (by our choice) in the things in heaven and not in the flesh. Jesus sacrifice on the cross is not a free pass to do what we want but to be obedience with the help of the Holy Spirit.

@@betsydodson9598 Most people are in agreement with him, it's easier and involves freedom to do what we want. It puts all responsibility on God, piece of cake, I can do this. If you read the word of God getting into heaven is not easy, unless you have the help from the Holy Spirit and even then it's a daily battle against sin and temptation, the Holy Spiritwill never direct you against the same word He Himself inspired (may be that you don't get those horrible temptations or have to fight our sinful nature) so I can assume you are 100% spiritual. For most is easy to agree with this kind of interpretation of Paul's letters, the less we have to do with it the better. Consider what Peter warns us about when it comes to Paul's writing style. 2nd Peter 3:15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. 16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the errorof the lawless and fall from your secure position. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

@@willi2643 I agree with the whole word. Genesis to revelation. The everlasting unchanging word. I believe the Messiah didn’t change anything just like he stated. I believe that’s all of the authors of the New Testament believed the Messiah when he said he didn’t change anything until the end of this age I believe that I am saved by grace and because of my faith I choose to obey the whole word of God everything everything that applies to me

I will NEVER "feel" worthy of God's free gift of grace. The hardest thing for me was forgiving myself. It seemed impossible for more than 20 years! ... until HIS holy spirit sat down with me one day and showed me in a vision that God sees 2 persons regarding me. 1: the old dead forgiven man that God forgot, and 2: the righteousness of the Risen Christ standing tall in the new me. Once I saw HIS truth then I could separate the child of God from the sinner of yesteryear then move on not looking back. THIS IS FREEDOM IN CHRIST! TORAH is the freedom... what this man teaches is ANARCHY . The law teaches you what sin is,, when you understand this you want to emulate Messiah Yeshua and not sin, not break the Torah. if you are one of God's children you obey Him, you dont eat pigmeat, you worship on the SABBATH, You do what Moses told you to do.

After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? 1 Corinthians 1:23 NIV [23] but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, Romans 1:16 NIV [16] For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. Rather see people get Born Again and enter heaven than argue what food to eat and day to worship. If you want to keep the law that’s up to you. I want the gospel and see people saved and set free from sin.

Only Christ can transform the dead empty heart from the inside out. Whenever it’s you trying to transform your dead empty heart from the outside in, like trying to keep the law, or like other religions, just do good works, they are all outside in. The result is your heart will still be empty. Jesus is inside out. All other religions are outside in.
