I lead 2 Bible studies & your teaching has been very helpful in doing so. I have been trying to facilitate our members to do their own inductive study as we meet. Last week we had our best study of this kind after a year of trying to accomplish this. I think this has been due in part, if not all to your clear step-by-step, teaching, which adheres to the text. I love how this is broken down like that, deep study of the bible is truly transformative for me. The best journey in life is to grow in understanding of God's word and to have the power of the Holy Spirit transform us. I have experienced trauma and many horrible things and also I made such bad, bad mistakes too... God was in control and still is to this day... He redeemed everything in my life esp my heart of stone. I am now leading Bible study with other women and youth... and not in a million years I would have imagined that God would mold and use me this way. I am a new creation serving the Lord with all my heart, and loving people like Jesus have commanded. It's a beautiful life living for Jesus. Thank you Dr Steve Lawson for this Bible Study. It has and is immensely blessing me and I am able to pass these wonderful truths to others.

I can't do a video, but I can comment: Dr Lawson, I haven't been able to attend my church for a long time. I had to retire early bc of hip bursitis etc. I'm now taking care of my mom. During the time I've been with my mom, my hip has improved, for which I thank God. Your men's bible study has been an anchor in a difficult time. Thank you so much.

Dr Lawson I'm curious what your view is on the textual variant ὁ θεὸς in Romans 8:28? It is not in the body of my NA28 but relegated to a footnote which says that it is supported by P45, Vaticanus, Alexandrinus but has a large array of witnesses against it including the other 2 great uncials, Sinaiticus & Ephraemi Rescriptus. Do you favour including it in the body of the text as NASB95 does or removing it from the body? And do you hold that even without it not in the body, the context is still clearly portraying θεὸς as the one working all things for good? Do you believe this variant might have been a scribal addition to make explicit what is already implicit ? Thank you for your wonderful Bible study, it is a great blessing to be able to go back and watch it. Also please consider putting the book, chapter and verse number in the title to make it easier for future listeners searching to find it. Much love from Australia.
