Let me share my spiritual experience concerning the scripture in Romans 8:26. After I got born again in my spirit when I received the Salvation in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, within few days the "groanings" manifested in me. I did groan heavily when I am so touched in my prayer especially when I prayed deeply. It became part of my normal prayer life whenever I was so moved while praying. It always manifests when I am praying in the spirit, and sometimes when I worship in the spirit. At its first manifestation I wondered why it happened, for I never heard of it before nor read of it in the Bible (at that time I had read only small portion of the Bible). But later on, I was amazed with exceeding gladness when I found it in the book of Romans. How I was so thankful to The LORD that He gives me such gift of praying in the spirit with groanings. For I know that the Spirit makes intercession for me with groanings when I know not what I should pray for as I ought. And that, I am sure that the Spirit is making intercession for me according to the will of God. This gives me a blessed assurance that The LORD hears my prayers. Thank You so much Father. Thank You. Each time I prayed with groanings, the burden that was in me before is released, and I became refreshed after the prayer. And I know that our merciful and gracious God is doing something good to whomsoever it is due or needed to be done, though I know not what I had prayed for. This kind of prayer had done a major part when the Lord Jesus raised up Lazarus from the dead. ( John 11:33-44 ) I hope this testimony will give a light of truth, wisdom and understanding to these scriptures. ( Romans 8:26-27 ) To God be the glory! God bless and graces to all.

Yes, Amen. I thank you for your testimony because that's exactly how I experienced praying with groanings and burdens are lifted and released. Seeing and reading this just gives me comfort and reassurance.

I struggle with prayer (I think I'm autistic. Communication is my thorn in flesh). Thank you Paul for clarifying about those groans, and the things we just can't put into words. I have deep stuff I so want to pray about with others, and on my own. It is so reassuring to know that the Holy Spirit searches out, knows what I'm wanting to say.

I screamed in joy in my room when it hit me --> my salvation is a done deal, I am already saved, I am already glorified, I am seated with Christ in the heavenly places. There was this unexplainable joy coursing through me. What a wonderful God, what a wonderful Saviour, what a wonderful promise! Even in the midst of this pandemic, this joy and hope is ever-present. It is a done deal. Praise the Lord!

"For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;" - I, Annelies Bakker, declare these word to be truth in my life from now on and all days to come, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ: amen!

We ALL are predestined, positioned & equipped exactly as we need to be, & at the right time, so to fillfull Gods will. Each and every one of us. Yet it is transactional/relational. The Lord Jesus has died for all sin, but not all sinners accept this free gift. We ourselves have to answer the call, lean into Christ & actively seek the Fathers will, which he has for us. Paul in this chapter is speaking to the church, he is not preaching this on the street. This is real meat which needs to be chewed on.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 "Whoever" salvation is for everybody, God (all knowing) foreknew from the beginning of time, who will accept His Son and who will not.

Predestination does not equal predetermination God has CALLED all of us to follow Christ NOT ALL will actually choose to do so Those who do, do, and those who don't. don't
@iLoveMissB Жыл бұрын
The way I understand the predestined/free will thing is like: when we accept Christ, we’re handed a GPS with the destination and directions already set…all we need to do is follow it…if we do, we’ll get to the destination in the smoothest way and if we don’t follow the map (because we have free will) we’ll take wrong trurns, longer routes, waste gas..but we eventually still arrive at the destination because the GPS will do the little reroute thing for us (working all the wrong turns for good).

Revelation after revelation... years ago when I was unsaved, I was looking for God in all the wrong places. A physic had set up a lttle hut thingy in our mall and I passed it many times wanting to go in to get a reading. Eventually I did, it was a short reading. She told me someone is standing behind you and is telling me to tell you to, " you need to hurry up and make a decision" a decision about what. She had no answer.. I honestly had no idea. I found myself at a crossroad and had no idea which road to take.. I spent days thinking on it til I forgot.. Eventually I gave my heart to the Lord about 12yrs later.. 😂

Fully agreed with you, accepting Predestination & Freewill together seem to be against the Law of Non-contracdition by Aristotle, however, this law is no longer valid in modern physic especially Quantum Mechanics. We are just only creatures in a four dimensional world (space + time) but only with three dimensional visualisation; we can only see thing within the space of width, height & depth.

Lay your burdens down here in the fathers house cory Ashbury (fathers house) very beautiful song when pastor paul said jesus wants to take care of your burdens or every sin. (At the cross when he substitutes his life for the sake of the sinner who believes in the promise of god which is the salvation of our souls by the atonement/propitiation. Roman's 1:17 the just shall live by faith and that faith is in god through and in jesus's perfect sinless life, death for the payment of sin for the sinner who believes in jesus,burial for 3 days 4 gospels Matt mark luke john , resurrected to be seen by 500 eyewitnesses 1Corinthians 15,spent 40 days with the apostles in acts, then ascended to the heavens seated at the right of god the father. Romans 3:21-31 there is a way of righteousness given by god (faith), there is justice through faith in jesus atonement for remission, god excluded boasting for providing salvation by faith apart the works of the law.

I personally think Paul's thorn was his own sense of personal spiritual pride.. Paul's uses personal pronouns repeatedly.. then Paul says ok if I'm going to boast....( tells us he previously was given to prideful boasting) remember God did indeed give him revelation after revelation.... 🙏🏼❤️😇

Someone once asked, when it came to the question how do you reconcile Gods omniscience with free will, that if someone knows you so intricatelly well that for sure he can predict what your reaction will be to a certain situation, does that diminish your free will to do it?
@ainembabazijoachim3723 ай бұрын
Well......He does know.....and he could choose to influence our lives. But here is the interesting point, he won't influence your life unless you choose to allow him to be the driver of your life. John 3:16, ".........that whoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

If you are witnessing to a work colleague and don't seem to be getting anywhere, do we give up as said person may not be predestined to salvation. Can this list of the saved be changed if someone has a change of heart to come to Christ.

I would like to ask. As God called us before the foundations of the earth and called us. Are there people that have been called but did not accept Christ because it seems to me from the sermon, sincere calling was predestined, so is the heading of the call certain? So is it that ALL of human kind was called?
