Forgive me but you are wrong, as was Calvin on some of his points, not all, but Calvinism was not even a concept in the early church. Your mistake is a false understanding of what God's sovereignty is, and divorcing it from the responsibility of man. Don't ever make the mistake of taking a finite man's doctrinal viewpoints as Biblical truth. You are responsible for studying the Word. I am neither Calvinist nor Arminian, they don't save. The Lord Jesus Christ saves. Strong Theology is also important and necesary for the edification of the saints. But again the Theology needs to be scrutinized by the Word, not the Word being scutinized by the Theology. Scripture is supreme. Calvin makes really sound and Biblically correct points in the Doctrines of Grace, but not all align cohesively with Scripture. Meditate on this. The reason Calvins correct understanding of mans condition and salvation is so hated by the church is because it is Biblical truth. The truth of God was always a concept in the early church. Now the truth of mans condition and salvation is known as Calvinism, but it is nothing more than Biblical truth. Calvinism has nothing to do with anything, it is only Calvins correct understanding of mans condition and salvation. This truth has just been labeled as Calvinism, but it is not Calvinism, it is the truth of Gods word. It is not me who has divorced Gods sovereignty, is it all those who have rejected Calvins five correct points and traded the truth of God for a lie. The churches freewill gospel is a lie, it is a manmade fraud. It is the freewill gospel that throws out Gods sovereignty, absolutely not Calvinism. My understanding of Gods word has nothing whatsoever to do with any man. I am not a Calvinist, but only recognize that Calvin correctly understood mans condition and salvation. It is no different than if the entire church believed that Jesus was a woman and not a man, and Calvin, (or anyone) came along and stated that Jesus was not a woman but a man. I would simply in the same way state that this person correctly understood what Jesus was. I already knew the truth of what is called Calvinism before I ever heard of it. I just affirm that it is correct doctrine. Same as the fact that Jesus is a man and not a woman. Again, the problem is, the entire world/church hates the truth of Gods word, and the correct understanding of mans condition and salvation that is known as Calvinism (that is in fact nothing more than Biblical truth) is just flat out correct. This is why it is so hated.

You started this by saying "if you have accepted the gospel" Then you have a friend, the Holy Spirit. This is 100% incorrect and is a false gospel of works. It puts man in charge of his destiny and his salvation. This is the exact opposite of the real gospel of grace.

The Gospel for the Church Age is found in 1 Cor 15:1-4. We are required to believe (accept) this and thereby let it transform us. Is this a "work?" Is unbelief a "work?" God expects a reponse from the heart.

For anyone to make that statement only exposes that they don't know what the gospel is and have been deceived by the apostate church and its 100% false manmade freewill gospel. The whole Bible is the gospel. Yes, we are required to believe Gods word the Bible, (the gospel) the problem is, there is not one single person that ever has or can ever believe. This is why Jesus had to come and do what he did to redeem his chosen ones, his elect. Those HE chose, and predestined to salvation. The churches freewill gospel is a fraud and has never and will never save anyone. It is an antichrist gospel and is the gospel of the accursed and of the spiritually dead. You have been deceived. You do not understand what grace is. Only the spiritually alive understand what grace is. There are no Christians (the spiritually alive) in the church. @@Rosev ,.....First off, Baruch is not teaching a true message, he is teaching the apostate churches manmade freewill gospel. The freewill gospel is the opposite of the real gospel, it is a replacement for the real thing, a counterfeit version, and that is the very meaning of the term antichrist. The way salvation works is, Jesus goes to those few he came to save, his chosen ones, his elect. He makes them spiritually alive (saves/redeems them) then AFTER they have already become saved, these few begin to believe Gods word and put their faith in the fact that Jesus has done everything for them. They have done absolutely nothing to attain their salvation. The work of faith is to do nothing. By doing something ones faith is not in Jesus it is in themselves and their works. The freewill gospel is a false gospel of works, of what you all think you have done. The fact is, you have only exposed that you do not belong to Jesus by doing and trusting in YOUR works. The entire apostate church as well as Baruch (whom I love) has this (the gospel/salvation)completely backwards. Again, it replaces the real gospel of grace with a manmade gospel of works. But it is sold as a gospel of grace, it is not, it is a deception.
