To the extent the church does not preach or emphasize the book of Romans it will suffer. The failure to do so results in confusion and error and people who are tossed to and fro with no assurance. I couldn't be MORE excited about this study!! Ty!

Oh boy. I have to find another binder to put these newer outlines in, lol. I'm not complaining - I never get tired of studying verse by verse. I have all the outlines from the 68-week study done from 2012 to 2014.

SAME😁. I haven't even finished the first series on Roman but have all the outlines in a big binder. I do keep skipping to the harder verses and chapters. I will try to keep up and follow through on this series verse by verse.

@@sharleen2318 I'm retired and do read the bible daily. Some days I'm definitely sharper and more with it and take the time to study things out more. I sure wish I had memorized verses years ago. The older I get, the harder it is to retain what I read. But I'm grateful for the outlines and notes I've made. Wish I lived closer to the church in Swayze.

Another outstanding series to absorb! Being in the UK we get the KZbin video on Wednesdays. So much looking forward to the exposition of the truths found in Romans. Thankyou JJ and GA.

we are planning to visit UK this year for a week - if the world doesn't go stupid again and lock down - is there a Grace church there? I have old friends there from an Anglican community where I worked decades ago. We wanted to visit USA a few years ago to visit JJ's church but the borders shut on us.

You're on the right video. Start studying Romans. You can do it with us or on your own. (Both would be good, since we go slowly through it. You can go faster.) You need to 1) make sure you understand how you were saved (it will provide assurance), 2) learn who you are now in Christ, 3) learn how to now live with this new mind. Romans gives you the best introduction to these subjects. Read Romans 1-8 until you can understand its teachings - graceambassadors.com/books/romans/the-purest-gospel A list of places to start on the site - graceambassadors.com/tips/where-do-i-start Bible study "tips" can serve as short daily lessons - graceambassadors.com/tips

Three questions that debunk modern Christianity: 1. Were you ever part of the Old Covenant that Moses mediated? 2. Were you born under and subject to the Mosaic law? 3. Did Christ redeem you from the curse of the law that Paul was referring to in Galatians 3? Hint: if the first answer is "no" (and it is) then they are all "no".
@robertmwangi1452 Жыл бұрын
This should address this objection Romans 2:12-15 [12]For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law [13](for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; [14]for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, [15]who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them ) Even though the moral law written in stone tablets was not given to the Gentiles under the old covenant the Law of God was written in the consciences of the gentiles,they are guilty of breaking the law as well because they don't obey what they know to be right in their conscience. GENTILES and JEWS alike are Law breakers and under the curse of breaking the law and Christ redeems us from this curse

@@robertmwangi1452 Doesnt change it...here's why: **He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. 20 He has done this for NO OTHER nation; they DO NOT KNOW his laws. Psalm 147 Pagans cant "not know his laws" and also "know his laws". The law was written on Israel's hearts. Says so right here: **Therefore shall ye lay up these my words IN YOUR HEART. Duet 11 Here is the truth... Redeemed "Jews and gentiles" can also be called "southern and northern kingdoms" Jews were Israelites from the southern kingdom of JEWdah (those "under the law") Redeemed Gentiles were uncircumcised scattered Israelites living out in pagan areas (those "without the law" but born under it). Please answer the three original questions with a "yes"or a "no". Thanks!

Also...Paul said "sin existed between Adam and Moses but sin is not imputed when there is NO LAW." See that? Paul said there was no law before Moses but you say there was. One of you is wrong.
@MandMe91 Жыл бұрын
@@robertmwangi1452 Robert, were you ever part of the Old covenant that Moses mediated?
@robertmwangi1452 Жыл бұрын
@@MandMe91 Romans 5:12-14 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. I noticed you misquoted Paul by writing " Sin existed between Adam and Moses" instead of "Death reigned from Adam to Moses" It is important to understand what point Paul is stressing in Romans 5. He is stressing that Sin entered into the World through one Man called Adam and death passed unto all men but he is specifically emphasizing that Men do not die because of individual sins but as a consequence of Adam's sin. Infants do not individually sin but they still die . He shows this by saying that The "WRITTEN LAW" did not exist from Adam to Moses,so people did not die because of breaking specific written Laws. Even though the WRITTEN LAW did not exist before Moses, the work of the Law existed in the consciences of men (Romans 2:12-15),they did what was right or wrong according to the WRITTEN LAW even though God had not issued a specific set of laws showing that the law was in their conscience but people still did NOT die because of violating this law in their conscience but as a consequence of Adam's sin,all of us were in Adam when he sinned because we are his seed . In the same way all humanity partakes of the consequences of Adam's sin we can also partake in the benefits of Jesus' righteousness when we are in him Romans 5:15-17 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Neither Paul nor I is wrong as you claim. I simply pointed out that the work of the Law in the consciences of men did exist before Moses,a point that Paul doesn't deny (Romans 2:12),he only denies that the specific WRITTEN LAW ON STONE Tablets existed before Moses. Paul cleary distinguishes the Law in the consciences of men and the law of Moses written on stone tablets.

sad, Martin Luther also taught election. Romans, 9,10, 1nd 11 are for gentile's election and calling too. Romans 9:23And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? Romans 10:12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 11: 13For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: Paul is speaking to Jew and Gentile in the Body of Christ.

Election is the ONLY true teaching in fact. Check Proverbs 16:4 too.
