I love Roman's leadership style, because it is just like mine. He pushes everyone, including Adrian, out of their comfort zone. Getting to know the personalities and styles of your direct reports is essential to developing them to the next level. This really irritates me: (High E voice) "Tell me about this watch". (Low E voice) "Uh, it's a 41 millimeter (insert model and reference number here)???" I really thing that as a customer service experience, the customer should open the box, take it out, remove the plastic, etc. while the sales person records it. "Tell me how you feel right now?" This should be part of the whole customer experience. Record it and offer the customer a copy of the recording so they can relive the experience with their friends and family.
