I am from the tri state area and I went to Cove Haven 3 years ago for my 1st wedding Honeymoon (at the time we had to stay local.).I had seen the commercials on channel 9 in my childhood and always wanted to go.It is exactly as shows but more exciting in person.Yes,aged but clean.We got the Champagne Tower room and it was so nice.A pool,Sauna,Two floors,fireplace,massage table champagne tower tub.Very nice for a couple and the staff is attentive.A bar on property and a restaurant,we ate off property.The Poconos has many things to do if you are not participating in the property offerings.You can also go to their sister resorts free.There were no shows when we went though. Yes,watch those steps and the twinkle of the ceiling over the round bed is a nice touch. Great video

@@allthingsanto1 thank you for your prompt response,there is a major price difference between booking through the resort and travel sites.We enjoyed walking the grounds.I moved out of NY for a few years to that area,so it was nice to show my husband the local waterfalls etc. Thank you😊

@@allthingsanto1 you may get perks and at this resort they give points.To me...I will only go every couple of years so the value of using a travel sight is a huge savings. If I went to all of the shows,etc I may consider booking through the resort. The food in the area is not bad for the Poconos(I am not snubbing but I lived there from NY and..well,you were there.lol) so we passed on the meal plans which it looked as if most of the guests did. When you go again,there are so many closed resorts that you can drive past.They look as if the 70's were happening and then one day everyone vanished.
