The Rome Artifact Pro Snowboard - Selected for the Whitelines 100 Snowboard Awards
Name a more universally beloved freestyle board than the Rome Artifact; we’ll wait. For years it has sat at the very top of the tree, rivalled by a tiny smattering of others - and we don’t expect that to change any time soon.
That being said, its fun-on-a-bun personality does make it a bit noodly for the biggest features in the park. Just a bit of extra stiffness, combined with a few other tweaks here and there, and it’d be a different story. Step forward the new Rome Artifact Pro.

How much different will the 158w ride from the 155w? My normal park boards are between 155w and 158w.

Hi. I'm deciding between Rome Artifact 22/23 Pro vs Rome Stale Mod 21/22, can you advise me which one to choose please? And I'm still basically a beginner. Which of these two would be a better choice, please? And I don't want to jump and do tricks either. I want a snowboard for normal riding. Can it also be done with the ROME brand? Or should I look for another brand and another type of snowboard?

None. If you are a beginner and wish to go with Rome boards, pick Gang Plank or Party Mod, they will be much easier to ride and plenty of fun. You could also get away with Agent (it is almost camber, but approachable flex). Artifact Pro and Stale Mod are full-cambered park boards, you just don’t need those if you are not going to jib or jump, they will just limit you outside of the park.

Love my agent 157 on the jumps/resort, just a true twin guy. Need something a little smaller for the days I don’t leave the park/early season when rails is all there is. Very in between Agent pro 154 and Artifact pro 153. Any thoughts?

agent pro to me feels more like an all mountain board with a freestyle twist. It's stiffer than you might think, does have a ton of power for jumps. If it's just rails or softer snow I'd go artifact any day.

Either, but Ultra will be more damp and comfortable. Strata or Vice would also do the job.
