Roman guards on the bridge in replica attire! So cool! Great walk. I enjoyed seeing everything along the way. Seeing the cobblestone walk ways and all the buildings. Many are beautiful. It must have taken many years to complete them all. Are schools scattered throughout the city? I don't remember seeing any. You walked far! Thanks for a wonderful walk.🥰❤️

It could sound pedantic but, about some arguments, better to be precise (what you wrote could be wrongly interpreted): on that monument are written only who died from that neighborhood (not all Rome), that's why it says “to his sons fell in WWI, the people of Borgo". It would have been great if Rome had lost "only" a hundred men in WWI, unfortunately it was many thousands. 🍺

Was that monument about ww1 or about the war of 1915-1918 in Rome?

@@AmazingWalkingTour La targa con i nomi è stata fatta dalla popolazione di Borgo, con quei sottotitoli qualcuno potrebbe intendere quel centinaio di persone come le vittime romane (al fronte ovviamente) della WWI, invece sono solo le vittime di Borgo (i soldati romani morti furono migliaia).

@@AmazingWalkingTour Che poi non capisco, l'hai scritto tu stesso: "this monument is dedicated to Rome's war heroes of 1915" e poi non comprendi a cosa mi riferisco? La WWI è quella che in Italia si chiama anche "guerra del 15-18" (come indica la targa infatti), proprio perché l'Italia entrò in guerra l'anno dopo, non il 1914. Comunque l'ho scritto, è solo una precisazione, non prenderla come chissà cosa, semplicemente quelli sono nomi di Romani certo, ma solo di Borgo.

@@AmazingWalkingTour Nessun problema. 🍺 Non l'ho scritto per rompere le scatole (anche se sembra questo) ma perché Roma ha perso davvero migliaia di cittadini nella WWI (appunto, solo il quartiere di Borgo ne ha persi un centinaio) e scritta in quel modo non si capisce in modo chiaro. Ciao e continua a fare questi bei video. 👍
