I have mostly used my feet (95% of the time) in Rome, maybe 3 or 4 taxis, a couple of private drivers......2024 and going forward as I get older it may be less feet. lol But, I might tell a taxi to let me off someplace I have never been because the most pleasant experiences and funniest were finding myself in some area off the beaten path having a good laugh and meeting new people. Nobody seems to be in an ugly mood in Rome.

The whole purpose of this channel is to convince people to go off the beaten track in Rome.. Why? because that's when you really start enjoying Rome. :)
