This is cool. I wish I was alive to see Sublime. I was 3 when Brad OD'd. And that's tragic. Horrible way to go especially after being married for 7 days and to have a kid on the way (Jakob) and to be so excited about having a kid....Sublime with Rome is great it's different but then again Bud Eric and my Cousin (Todd-Sax, keyboard, percussion) are all in their 40s and have families.

In no way am I disrespecting Brad...my words were obviously misinterpreted. He was the genius that wrote these songs and helped to get this whole genre of music on the map. He wrote songs that have stuck even years after his death. My whole point of my comment was meant to show support to Rome. How hard must it me for him to feel he has to even try to live up to a legacy by preforming Bradley's songs onstage. Rome obviously idolizes Bradley, but doesn't try to be him.

Right so. I like Rome. I like the idea of Sublime with Rome. I like hearing them play all the old music. I don't like the idea of them releasing new music. Brad was Sublime. Brad owned the copyright, and made it clear without him he didn't want there to be a Sublime. With Bud gone from the band especially, I truly don't like the idea of this band being what people associate "Sublime" with. Just to reiterate. I like Rome. Talented musician. But he isn't Brad. And he isn't Sublime.
