Really informative. I saved it as I know it will be very helpful during our paris, Switzerland and Italy tour. One question- How the metro pass get validated before starting of journey?

@@sarojbag2153 For the Paris metro, after purchasing the card, sign it and attach a photo on the back (for weekly pass). No need to validate-it’s ready to use instantly once you buy it from the counter. In Rome, however, remember to validate the card by inserting it into a machine before using it.
