I’m also so so happy for her. I have several chronic illnesses and live with a feeding tube and central line. My best friend lives 8 hours away, and my bestest friend here is my medical service dog.....as well as my other dogs and kitty. I wish more then anything to have people in my corner. But I was so deeply hurt by others that I shut the world out. But she is so amazing and totally deserves the best in life.

Me too, I balled crying with her last video, but held it together until the very end and then as her little brother dissolved into tears, so did I! Romee, I only know you via youtube and I have been praying for you from the very start when you first shared your diagnosis - I have laughed with you, cried with you and worried for you - but your family and friends must really have been terrified! You are a beautiful person Romee, in and out and I am so happy that you finally have a treatment that is working!

I KNEW I was going to shed happy tears, but I managed to hold out until your brother despite getting watery beforehand. I could just not get over how relieved he looked and thought of my own relationships with my siblings and I could completely imagine the feeling he had there. Seeing my friend's siblings lose their older sister last year really gave me a deeper understanding of how we bond as siblings.
