Unless you are a collector, the fake ones are just as good as the real ones. There will be small differences but for 1/10 of the price I think those small differences are fine. I own original Oakley xmetals but buy replicas to wear outside. Oakley lens are overrated. Their prizm lenses are pretty nice but non-prizm lenses are easily replaceable by 3rd party lenses.

Yeah you're right, I do also have an original Pitboss and a replica which kinda similar to its original and wearing it for outdoor activities more often . However the purposes of this video is something different, he is not trying to say that these little differences make a huge difference. Just bought a clone and love them. Looks the same feels the same with a little tweaking.. and will take the original lenses. I saved 500 plus bucks. Bought mine from ebay for 38 bucks. There are people selling the frames for 400 bucks on ebay claiming they are real. The sellers are from Venezuela. So watch out.

To be honest I don't mind fakes if people are paying the right fair price for it, my problem with fakes is when people are scammed and pay the amount for a real one, or think they're getting a good deal by paying less than retail but still way higher than what the fakes are worth. Specially if buying online, a lot of people will be scammed by these fakes I can tell. That's why it's so dangerous that knocks offs get too realistic and close to the real product, will deceive a lot of people :(

Wish they would do Homages like watches, ie copy design but not markings. I love Monster Dogs which are getting hard to find for sensible money, i wear em for work. I searched on Amazon a few years ago and some Look Alikes came up no markings but loocked decent. Bought a few pairs but never thought to see if original lenses would fit. Can;t find em now.
