Bravo guys and girls. I am only 16 minutes into this and I am liking it a lot. The nurse is gold. She finds the humour in Shakespeare's text and nails the delivery. Back to the watch

Great read from Juliet in Act 3 Scene 2. Another well deserved round of applause. Thing is, all these young actors are putting a modern spin on ancient text and making it work in the now.

It's here, Summit High School's fall 2021 production of "Romeo and Juliet"! This show was produced with all due regard to COVID-19 safety protocols relevant at the time. All actors were vaccinated and practiced strict masking when not on stage. Be sure to check out Anything Goes, our most recent musical production

The Romeo Mercutio Tybalt death scene doesn't quite work. I didn't realise that Mercutio was mortally wounded until he told us. It also doesn't help that the subtitles refer to Tybalt as 'tibble' (?) No biggie. Mercutio made some brave acting choices when he was alive. Kudos. I would love to see some comments from fellow students of this talented cast.

I am still less than halfway through. Not going anywhere anytime soon, just dealing with work commitments. Sorry. This is fun. The balcony scene got a well deserved 'round' from the audience. Romeo is very cool. (He has loud feet LOL). I have watched this young man in PIPPIN, MAMA MIA, and more... a serious talent.👍. I would love to see more comments. Don;t be afraid to ask the hard questions. Shakespeare's language is a big ask. We are talking 17C English...
