I swear its romeo and juliet, bonnie and clyide and harley and joker. Why is it people model their ideal relationships after either people who are either known for dying badly or in an abusive relationship. Fuck even with joker and harley quin harley is an almost ignored simp for the joker while i have to wonder if joker himself has a closet crush on batman with the way he talks about needing batman as a purpose to exist.

The play is a hard read.. the old movie of this is still hard to follow because of the language… the 90’s interpretation was a hot mess. This is prob one of the most clear explanations of the story I’ve seen.
