Gets her nowhere except learning how to act and produce (Yes, she produced this musical revue) and expand her network of professional contacts. If she decides to pursue entertainment as a living (and that is her choice to make), her experience at Vandy will have given her even more tools in her toolbox besides a pretty voice and a pretty face. And if she decides she wants to be back in Foxes and Fossils, I'm sure her dad can find some room in the band for her.

I have no idea where you are coming from, friend. Miss Sammie was 14 when she and some really talented teens started appearing with her dad's long-time cover band, the Mustangs. Much of the video we F & F fans are now watching was thankfully captured on video and has been dusted off and presented as if they were more than having fun and doing gigs on patios. The young ladies have all graduated, moved into careers and I think are amazed that folks are just lately turning their music from when they were high school freshmen into an imperative for them to move home from new jobs, lives and commitments. I would travel far and spend a bunch for tickets to see them as they were thru to today but I don't think ANY of the F & F gang ever thought they would become a dedicated touring band or do more than very occasional studio work should " the kids" come home for the holidays. Sammie is or has completed a Masters in Journalism and the world is her oyster. Another is in Iowa finishing an advanced degree and the others are successful. I think it is pretty short-sighted and even selfish to say Sammie or any of the ladies made a mistake not hanging around for the next beer and pizza gig.
