This is still (so far) my favorite, Alagna and Vaduva, the death bed, candelabra and scattered lillies, perfect. This reminds me very much of the painting by Alexandre Cabanel (1284) The Death of Francesca de Rimini and Paolo Malatesta. Yes, I know about the opera Francesca da Rimini by Zandonai, it's fabulous. However, I can't help but wonder if this final scene was influenced by that painting.

Il y a plus de 20 ans Alagna était superbe ,il est dommage que Juliette aie manqué de souffle et de " jeu" dans le dernier acte
