Great scene about male domestic abuse. And I'll say it again, it's great that the show is showing that it also happens to men. I thought that with Rayane's murder they would forget about it, but fortunately not.

The acting was good but I can't agree the scene is good. It's a good scene about abuse but it doesn't really touch a lot of things, like not being able to tell people because it's imasculating or having to answer to people that you can't retaliate because you're afraid if hurting the other person then being accused for being the abuser.

Yes everybody forgets that in his first Major storyline he himself was a domestic abuser to his girlfriend Amy hitting her trying to stop her seeing her friend chopping her long beautiful hair off she lied about being pregnant to stop the abuse only for her to find out she was pregnant with Lucas. Then he ended up in abusive relationship with Brendan from abuser to victim

I don’t understand why everyone always blames the partner everytime they are killed. I don’t think Romeo killed Rayne, it’s impossible because Romeo was scared of her. And despite Romeo's body shape he is too gentle and is soft natured so he doesn’t have it in him to hurt anyone.

A small part of me is starting to think that they all (or at least some of them) might know who killed Rayne, and they're trying to cover it up and pin the blame on Brent. IF (and that's a big if), that is the case, then it could be Pheonix. That being said, I'm still pretty sure it was Hunter, although I don't want it to be.

@ChelseyLinden Ya know, I wouldn't mind if Pheonix was the killer. It would be an interesting twist for the character as I don't think Hollyoaks gives Pheonix any active storylines with him at the center or the cause of the drama. If I recall correctly, Pheonix's major storylines dealt with his Autism and gender identity, and while those topics of self-discovery are important but in the soap opera world that thrives on drama it's no murder mystery or secret affair. I just wish we saw Pheonix at the heart of the drama for once.

Here's a theory what about the secret that Romeo and Peri are hiding is that . They might have decided to spike Rayne's drink or prank her but it went wrong. And Rayne died when she fell into the pool and Romeo and Peri didn't mean to kill her and that it was an accident. Maybe they did that when no one was looking. That's why Peri knows Brent didn't kill Rayne.

Heres how i think the murder happened. Hunter goes to confront rayne, finds her dead in the water and walks away, then brent finds the corpse and does the same. Afterwords romeo discovers the body and screams alerting everybody to it. Then we get a flashback from phoenix and find out its either murder on theyre part (theyre all protecting them cause they know phoenix wont last in jail) or witnessed raynes suicide. Eithet way its recorded on the glasses that were left on the statue

Oh my OA I really hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Romeo I really hope he’ll come back. Also when James spoke to Romeo about his Grandfather Mac and said at 2:05 it made me say “that’s not true the first Person he told was his Ex-Fiance John Paul when he was still a bit blind but he could see a little blurry but he ‘saw’ James on the ground and he told John Paul afterwards about what his Father used to do to him then he told Harry then Mercedes and then his Sibling’s” but Alfie and Ellie didn’t believe him until Ellie saw Mac beating up James and pushed him out the window in anger and rage still I am glad Romeo knew about what max did to his Father when he was a Kid but sadly Juliet didn’t and I’m not sure if Cindy “Lou 🥰” or Tom does. Still I really do hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Romeo I also wonder who Romeo was talking to on the phone. And I knew it was Brent Mother who made that video on Rayne’s post maybe she’s the one who killed Rayne. 😒

Wow I haven’t watched in hollyoaks in over a year! I use to love and I mean love hollyoaks i use to watch this since I was 11 years. And I just randomly stopped watching it.
