Why not buy the console you love for your bathroom vanity and add open shelves on the sides to add the extra 2 feet you need, where you can store bath towels and cute baskets of soaps. Just an idea.

Marigolds are great insect repellant, i.e. mosquitos. Put them around the deck, doors, and in your garden. It helps to keep deer (moose, in my case) from grazing on your garden goodies.

My grandmother also swore they repelled stray cats. Her flower beds were always full of cat S*%T until she planted them.

We plant them as a border for our veggie gardens in Africa because they’re such a great pest repellent…but the bees still love them :)

You could always buy the vanity piece of your liking and increase it in size if needed. Let's say you find the perfect 5ft but need a 7ft., just add a foot on both sides to keep symmetry and of course replicating the style of the main piece. The new sides could even be left without doors to store rolled up towels. It's hard work but I imagine that you would have fun doing it.

I had a different thought. Cut the piece in half and add a wider section (like a table leaf). Possibly divide in thirds to keep the center drawers intact and add extra storage on either side of the drawers.

Marigolds have a smell, but I wouldn’t say they are stinky. They keep deer away from gardens, so a lot of people in my neck of the woods plants them around their veggie gardens.

Marigolds keep away mosquitoes and other bugs, so they are good to have in your garden near your patio for bug control. ;) That is likely why they don't smell like a rose. LOL I have marigolds every year, but I've never noticed them smelling bad...but then I have never stuck my nose in their blooms, either. :D FUN video, MaCenna! ♥♥♥ I love you and your Mom together. :) And Kinsley is such a cutie. ♥

Lol lol marigolds have a smell of their own but that what makes them good In our vegetable gardens for deterring bugs we don't want. I love your mom and the relationship you have with each other. I'm glad she's comfy in front of the camera so she can be apart of your vlogs. Here in Cincinnati it's been hot till the last couple days when we got some rain and the cooler fall temps came with it and we turned off the air which came on 2 days ago and turned on the heat ugh!!! Marigolds are wonderful flowers. They are easy to grow and bloom for a long time. They self seed prolifically. The colour range is wide, from crisp lemon to deep orange, and a range of variegates. But the quality which makes them really special is their insect repelling properties - use the flowers in sachets in cupboards and drawers. Plant marigolds in vegetable gardens - adding colour, the plants dispel aphids, moths and many other creepy-crawlies.

Marigolds do stink but they are great to repell bugs. I plant them on my deck every summer for that reason. Love you and your Mom. Your adventures are so fun! Kensley wanted you to play so bad when you were showing us your vintage finds. Funny:-) I can't believe your Mom hasn't seen Hocus Pocus..

Awesome goodies! I collect milk glass & use my pieces in all sorts of ways. Last xmas, I took a bunch of "vases" & placed them on a silver tray & put white candles in them. Added some greenery, sprinkled faux snow & some other holiday decor & it was so pretty! Some people used them as vases & some as candle holders. U're only limited by your imagination! I really enjoy using mine on my make-up desk w my beautiful crystal pieces. It's so pretty & practical 💖
