Saludos Christian, estoy trabajando en este módulo pero en la parte de usar el comando de encapsulation me da un error referente a la interfaz de g1/0/1 y dice aborting al final. Que podría haber hecho mal?

la encapsulación se hace en una subinterface g1/0/1.10 por ejemplo, no dentro una una interface

I have a complete different table than yours but I am trying to work along with your version. In step 2 of configure trunking on the ether channels around 27 minutes and 6 seconds of the video. I enter the command and receive the following feedback, is there any possible way to tell me what is wrong and what I can do to fix it? Please try to configure one interface at time, beause the range is not valid, also verify the number of interface is correct

@@romeroc24 No, it does not. I am having the same issue. The MSW-1/L3-SW1 device does not allow the command switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q. I followed exactly what you did and received an error.

when i go to int g0/0/1.40 and the others 50/60 ect. i can't add ip address it says the ip address overlaps with another vlan , i searched some people say i need to do in int port-channel 1/2 switchport mode trunk encapsulation dot1q in the multilayer switch but when i do that it does not want to accept the command. do you know how to fix ?

you need to know the ip addressing at details, a good addressing design will not overlap between subnets, you are wrong in addressing

great video except it didn't let me set the encapsulation on the ports or port-channels. I did everything else and the pings were unsuccessful. i followed everything carefully. any tips?

same thing happened to me. I was trying to figure out where i went wrong and the packet tracer closed on me 😩. I ended up getting an 89.1%. What grade did you get after you submitted the assignment?

use a PC to connect from the RS 232 port to the console port on the router and you will access to CLI
