thanks very good, but for the range you need to put 2 things not all in one- S1 (config)#int range fa0/1-24 S1 (config-if-range)#shutdown and S1 (config-if-range)#interface range gi0/1-2 S1(config-if-range)#shutdown this will work but not all in one you put that is not going to work, but everything else isall good. everytime i type the command #in t range fa0/1-26, g1/1-2 it keeps saying interface range no valodated- command rejected.. is their anyway i could fix this

i'm assuming that you're not looking at your interfaces with #show int doing so shows you the interfaces you have. Mine are fa0/1-24, g0/1-2 ....

recuerdo que si usas packet tracer 7 no te cuenta esos puntos, pero si usas packet tracer 6.3 si los considera

primero asegurarse que la PC conectada sea la correcta, ingresas a la interfaz, la apagas con shutdown y luego la enciendes con no shutdown

Gracias por tus comentarios y por seguir el canal, el rango que debes agarrar es el fa0/1-24, g0/1-2, es decir las interfaces gigabit en este switch inician en 0.

en el check results me bota que la configuracion port security esta mal dice enable y una x en rojo en dos partes me aparece igual por eso no me sube los puntos... gracias

debes aplicar el comando "switchport port-security" en la interface indicada antes de los demás comandos

Que tal! Me sirvio de mucho tu video! se te agradece! Solo una duda, en si veo que pones por determinado 1024 al generar la llave para SSH V2 , dices que es el que lo soporta pero en realidad no entendi sobre eso, hay alguna forma en que me lo puedas explicar hahaha Gracias!

Para la versión 2 de SSH se debe crear una llave de 1024 bits, si usas menos bits, SSH 2 no lo soportará.

This is a bug on packet tracer, works on packet tracer 6.1 but on 6.2 and later that point is not accounted.

todo bien y sigo todos los pasos del video solo que no me agrega el nombre de usuario, y veo que a ti si te lo agrega pues te marca la practica 100% y a mi me deja en 95% :s pq no me agregara el nombre de usuario??

Debes hacerlo en el modo de configuración global, es decir primero ingresar el comando configure terminal y luego agregar el hostname

Christian Augusto Romero Goyzueta I got it solved. I think the program is sensitive with putting specific username: User admin with secret password ccna. So I tried to configure by removing user and password by typing "no username admin secret ccna" then typed again "username admin secret ccna" and typed line vty 0 15 underneath which helped me get 100/100. I think it has to do with putting between user and username. Thanks for the video though!
