Dr. Romero excellent video as always! You can also use a retainer case to duplicate the denture as well. Glidewell has a great video on this as well. Not sure if you have tried this or abandoned if not as cost effective.

Omg I so wish I have a dentist like you I just watch the videos because I've had to take my dentures and grind them down to almost barely anything because they were terrible the first day he put my uppers in he had to hold his thumb in there to hold them in I couldn't hardly talk I sound like Sylvester the cat so I just watch your videos to see if there's any way I could fix these things at home but I don't understand half of the language it brings tears to my eyes but it's good to know that somebody cares somewhere to bad for me

the special tray borders are extended into the full depth of sulcus , shouldn't it be 2mm short of vestibule ?

Yes, they are 2-3mm shorter. Look at the photos with the border molding, there is only compound on the border. Thanks for the question and watching.

Yea on my NHS dentures I reckon they don't bother trimming as thank God for my dremmel I was able to sort that upper jaw middle liney bit that makes them a bit more comfy lol

Yes you can, the downside is cost for the patient and caries on the roots long term.

For definitive dentures the recommendation is 3-6 months (patient is using immediate denture meanwhile). This will allow initial remodeling of alveolar ridge which is considerable during the initial months.
