I found your videos are much more clear. You explained everything very well. It was easy to understand all you where doing and why it was being done that way. I spent 20 years as an instructor for the state of florida in the us. For law enforcement. You would have made one of the best instructors. I have just subscribed to your channel. I've just manage to get hold of one of these kits. Its a stunning looking period model. I think I will portray it as a museum piece with worn looking paint but no dirt. This also gives me the opportunity to leave the engine panels off to expose the superb engine detail.

Thanks, I like to play with everything I have, and although I love using oils I'm not going to rule out other ready made stuff in the future, however, they dont beat the versatility of a decent oil pallet

Thanks Benny, theres a bit of a dilemma, I want to make my weathering realistic so i look at references and try to emulate the things i see. Vehicles like this are hard to do as the reference material is overall thin on the ground, lucky Copper State provided a good few in their book.

That's a cool vehicle. I really like WW1 and WW2 armoured cars. I'm waiting for the Meng RR Armoured car to arrive and will hopefully get that build on my channel at some point as well. You've done a cracking job on this! I loved the CSM Lanchester and I have the Romfell to build. The mask templates are a great idea...I hadn't realised that they were in the handbook. Thanks for sharing the build...great video. 👍🏼

It was really good. No fit issues...no clean up needed. Just a lovely model to build. You missed an opportunity to add exhaust staining. Bigger engines of that vintage had no oil filter system and you tended to get quite a bit of oil blow by. That oil blowing out of the exhaust would leave a light black sooting along the side of a vehicle. With a pipe that close the soot pattern would be a fan like spread. Starting about a half a foot back and getting lighter and wider as it moves back

Superb - as is all your work; I wonder, would it have been possible to make the doors & engine doors movable - instead of glueing them in fixed positions, so they can be opened & closed at will ?

I will definitely try that. I’ve been using MMP for a couple years now, and I’m still having peeling issues with the primer. Even trying to follow their instructions to the letter. Even bought a new airbrush just for MMP, and I was still having problems.
