My thoughts on the price increases is that the people behind the scenes at Chanel have noticed the popularity of the classic bags compared to seasonal pieces which it invests more money in to produce. The way to increase sales is to hike up the price of the classics and force people to consider seasonal pieces. There is a method to their madness y'all.

That's a classic Chanel GST in black caviar & gold hardware - many people love that bag and even though it's been discontinued it holds its value pretty well!! 🥰 In terms of the Chanel Deauville, you have to keep stalking the pre-loved market. I'd recommend Fashionphile, Yoogi's Closet, Rebag & Vestiaire Collective etc. - I hope you'll find your dream bag one day!! 🤗❤ Xx

Thanks for taking us shopping Romina. Such an enjoyable video, loved looking at the vintage items. Just so many beautiful bags, how do you choose? Have Chanel banned you ? I’m really over Chanel here in Australia also. The Chanel boutique here in Perth is just terrible. Sales associates are completely stuck up, especially the manager. They have bad google reviews. Think that would be enough to make them change but no. However the Chanel beauty boutique here is the best. I don’t care how much I love something if the sales associates are rude and no help then they won’t be getting business from me.

I loved the vintage bags. Could you give your opinion on the bags that hold up the best over the years. From the video obviously the big totes get very floppy but the Chanel bags to me held up beautifully.

Chanel classic flap bags in caviar leather hold up beautifully - in terms of investment & aesthetically too!! 😉❤ Caviar leather is very durable and difficult to scratch - marks usually don't show up!! 🥰 You only have to be aware of colour transfer in case you'd go for a lighter colour - black is probably the best & safest option here!! 😍❤ Patent leather in darker colours is also very durable - avoid lambskin if you want something that lasts you a lifetime!! 🤗❤ Xx

Hello Romina, just wondering if you could help me with the following. I am contemplating buying a Chanel mini classic bag in tweed or jersey, depending on what I will find available at the time. Have you got any experience with the Chanel tweed and/or jersey fabric? What are your thoughts? Have you seen any mini bags in tweed or jersey during your recent visits to the various London outlets (including the ones selling pre owned). I am based in the UK and I usually shop in London. Hi Cat!! I don't have any experience with jersey but I would advise to stay away from tweed for sure!! I once had a Chanel Gabrielle bag in beautiful tweed (and she was a stunner) but I had to sell her pretty quickly because after only a couple of wears the bag started pilling - and believe me the pilling at the back of the bag (where it rubs against your body when you walk) was very obvious!! It destroyed the entire look of the bag and I was worried it would loose a lot of value if I kept carrying it - the easier decision was to sell it!! I saw a tweed bag at Pandora recently, they do pop up from time to time!! Definitely keep me updated what you're going for in the end - happy weekend, love!! Xx

Hey! Thanks for showing us all of these bags. I’m going to Hermes in Zürich tomorrow. I won’t be asking for a Kelly or a Birkin. Since I already have both of them, however I’ll try to score an Evelyne. I highly recommend the Hermes locations in New York for someone who’s interested in a Kelly or a Birkin. I believe that it’s easier to get the bag from there than Paris. Btw the red boy bag looked just like mine. The one which I recently sold.
