Okay everyone, if you find that your brain is telling you “normal people don’t *insert food behavior here*” Just remember that I don’t have an ED and I’ll often do things like eat two PB&J sandwiches for a meal, eat breakfast cereal as a snack, eat chocolate at random times in the day (sometimes multiple times a day), and sometimes I’ll just eat because I want to taste food and not because I’m physically hungry. In moderation, these things are not unhealthy. It’s all about balance! Not trying to “cure” y’all, just giving a daily reminder that we’re humans, not machines ❤️

Yep! Sometimes, I eat lunch for breakfast or a whole bottle of kefir (four servings) for a meal because, well, that's what sounds good and cooking is hard. No ED either, but disability. The only rule is: eat enough!

I sometimes eat so I don't have to throw out the food, I sometimes eat because I feel tired, sometimes I eat the exact same thing for a meal for several days because I like it so much, and one of my guilty pleasures is eating the cold food directly from the bowl before putting it in the fridge 😂 and I sometimes eat for my emotions, which is not ideal, but I'm not perfect... Sometimes I eat the weirdest things for breakfast, like cookies, cake, soup, pasta... I've eaten sugary cocoa powder with a teaspoon 😂 I've eaten from a dirty dish because I didn't feel like washing it. On more than one occasion. Name a weird eating habit - I've done it.

@@StayGreenBDifferent I’m disabled too :) It can be so difficult to figure out what to eat when I have no energy, which is every day after work. Still, I try my very best to follow that one rule! Not fueling my body won’t help anything that’s for sure haha

ive been recovered from anorexia for 2,5 years and the tip i would have needed to hear would be... keep going. just keep going, even when it's so hard that you want to give up and return to "the safety of ed". keep challenging yourself and say "i did it. well done" do yourself every day!! also, write yourself a letter of why you want to recover. read it everytime you feel like giving up. in the end, when you do recover, you'll feel so free xx

One thing I didn’t expect to be such a big deal in my recovery was accepting that I don’t have to love everything I eat. Another big thing is eating when I’m hungry but don’t have an appetite (that’s something that I still notice myself using as an excuse to starve)

I've been struggling with anorexia for over half of my life, been in and out of all types of treatment, and to be honest, was really about to give up. But you showed me through your struggles and amazing-ness that recovery was hard, but possible. And I cannot thank you or send enough love to you (sorry, I don't mean that to be in a creepy youtuber way. lol.) for giving me the encouragement that no one else (therapists, doctors, family, friends) have been able to give me! I was introduced to your channel through an older video of yours, so after watching that video I clicked on this one. The difference in your level of self confidence between now and then is so evident. You seem to have come a long way in your personal growth and recovery, and I am so happy for you! You are doing great. Rooting for you! ❤️

I do not have an ED, but another anxiety disorder. Watching your recovery and seeing you face challenges and overcome them has really helped me to be kinder to myself when I face my own challenges. Keep it up, you are wonderful.

I always look forward to your uploads. I cant begin to describe how much you've helped me. I've been battling my own ed for almost 5 years now, and only in the last month I've finally asked for help and started a journey of my own recovery. You genuinely inspired me to do this and I can't thank you enough. I'm so proud of your recovery and hope you continue to power through it and get better and even stronger :) Thank you again x
