Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway: 31 July 2013 Part 2

The second part of my visit to the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway on Wednesday31 July 2013.
After being turned, No.2 "Northern Chief" is seen moving away from the turntable amidst a variety of plants, before reversing onto its train. We then board the train for the full journey to Dungeness, the loco being filmed in its stride during the journey. Beyond New Romney, the line becomes single track, and at Romney Sands, we see diesel No.12 "John Southland" again, returning from Dungeness. At Dungeness, No.2 is seen passing the points at the start of the balloon loop, and then pulling into the station, where the loco rests briefly.
