I have no idea why people are saying Karna is better than him. Factually ROMA beats him in every category except divine enemies. Why do I have a feeling its people who don't have him that are saying this and are mainly judging his performance on the one story fight he's useable...you know...the one where he can only deal neutral damage, having to deal with a damage cut Zeus and DEF buffs, ATK down debuffs occasionally on your team, and Mash just sitting there clogging up your team composition because the game wants you to start caring for her even though we all know she's only good in that form in those battles because the revive, damage buff, and damage cut she has through story reasons. 1) Higher ATK 2) NP Charge is 30% instead of Karna's Awkward 25% 3) Self-Buffs are the same value but if you use Roma's 3rd skill and crit an enemy first before NP that's 20% more damage. So in a vacuum he out damages Karna unless its Divine 4) The existence of Boudica meaning he can further push his damage and the fact that she's openly available 5) While Karna's buster reisistance is better in piling on more damage with busters, its only useable with busters so 3 out of his 6 cards. Albiet lower, Roma's ATK buff can at least be useable by all cards for everyone on his team. 5) He can spam his NP easier than Karna since he has 2 arts cards. An NPAA crit chain (with arts buff thanks to Boudica) will basically put him near to at 100% (and this is only with buffs from those 2 units) 6) Has star absorb, instinct, and Invulnerability 7) Has more natural Crit damage buffs than Karna. 8) Able to actually support the team's damage more than Karna What Karna has over him is Anti-Divine on NP and NP seal and that's it. And this is coming from a Karna lover that lewds him non-stop in drawing. I will say though, against an enemy with debuff immunity....yeah, don't expect him NP to do much damage. Karna would be better in this case (still only if they were divine as the buster resistance down wouldn't be applied)

@@gnt163 and like even if enemy has debuff immunity or cleanse debuffs on bar break, that only screws up Romulus's NP damage. His actual damage isn't affected by it. While against an enemy with debuff immunity, like I said, Karna can't land the Buster Resistance and it actually makes his 1st skill useless. Which would turn Karna into nothing more than a beat stick with no star absorb or survivability. Plus if the enemy "cleanses" Roma's buffs well....same literally applies to every other servant who gets their buffs nullified lol. Like I see people saying Romulus isn't that good compared to Karna because he gets screwed over by all that stuff....but Karna gets screwed over even worse with not much to fall back on lol.

Hans basically for budget supports. Boudica if you want to have stupidly high damage, and Mozart if you need crits asap. Aside from them, the big supports are excelent, as always (Waver/Reines/Merlin), and you can pair him with Osakabehime/Nightingale and do well. There is also Santagale who is a good welfare Support. Simply \o/
