Bothered me too Ron. Guess. The Fonz character was needed I guess. The show may have made I it without him. We'll never know. Lot of Memories of my happy days were renewed by the show. His buddies Ralph and Potsie were great.

So honest... working with Jerry Paris and Garry Marshall, that's worth at least two years experience credit at film school, certainly. One of the executives must have been Michael Eisner, who eventuslly became head of Disney...perfect example of someone who would suggest what RH explained. If the name of the show had been changed, it would have hit it's zenith after one or two years more; it would have allowed the Exodus of the key family players. Keeping it as the ensemble title allowed the show to continue and kept a lot of people working, even if they did eventually create and live the expression jump the shark. To listen to RH, one is allowed a lesson from a master, and he learned from the best in the business, how to navigate negotiation in television...
