It's not only that, but it shows that while he's still particular about a lot of his ideals, he's not a complete libertarian caricature in his ideology anymore. He approves of the federal government conserving land, and treats those that work under him fairly and equally, rather than subjecting them to absolute anarchy as he would in previous seasons.

After this episode aired and the series ended I truly started to contemplate my life and as surprising as it is. I’m actually going into an internship at a National Park near where I live because of it. This episode truly inspired me. I know she isn’t real and I know I may not ever get to meet the actor who portrayed her in real life, but thank you Leslie Knope. Thanks for inspiring me to chase my dreams. UPDATE: I wasn’t eaten by a bear! Don’t worry! But the internship went really well and I found that I actually fit quite well in working the landscape of the National Parks Service! Ron's flash forward was the best part of the finale, and the most emotional one. It would have packed more of a punch in this clip if they included the end when Ron paddles in his canoe, smiling happily while "Buddy" played. His relationship with Leslie is the best part of the show and the ending reflects their absolute trust, devotion and understanding of each other. It was the perfect end for Ron, all because he reached out to his "workplace proximity acquaintance." The perfect moment to a perfect series finale.

This show absolutely rocks! The character arcs are perfect! It does something that few comedies ever do, it gets funnier and more heartfelt as it goes. This cast became a family, and you can feel that in every scene. Watch Parks and Recreation! You will not be disappointed!

For being a master in all things DIY, he should know it's not a Crescent wrench, it's an adjustable wrench. Crescent is a brand, and while it became synonymous with the adjustable wrench, Crescent makes more than just an adjustable wrench at this point, and has for decades. The Crescent Adjustable Wrench was commonly included with early model cars, and were widely used during WWII. However, the wrench itself is, and has always been, an Adjustable Wrench.
