Ronald Jenkees is the best. His music had been in my playlist forever!

Key point: Just about everyone here is backing this dude, I just bought both cd's from the website. He is an inspiration to musicians all over, and what a wonderful message he brings. Simply do what you love and you won't need to be rich. I have a rich uncle who's been single all his life and had a few heart attacks last year. He hasn't really done anything at all with his life. I don't see why an excess of money is important to so many people. Do what you love.

"Quirky keyboards?" ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! How DARE you call the absolute MAGIC that RJ creates simply an act of silly piano playing. Obviously, these people have NO idea of the complexities and richness of his sound. Have they even seen Stay Crunchy or Throwing Fire all the way through for that matter? Do they think that anyone can do that? What Mr. Jenkees does is nothing short of miraculous. He is truly phenomenal.

@Graiskye9 жыл бұрын
Ron could probably retire today, and live comfortably without ever releasing another song. Dude is smart, independent production, and release, is the key. Now for the rest of his life, people will buy his music, because it is genuine, and good, it makes me smile, simple as that, and for that reason he is successful. Royalties may not be huge but they add up,and there is no record company skimming 90% of the top. Go Ron.

The two right ones were nice... and the left one was just being honest from his POV. Lefty didn't say he disliked Jenkees character or music, he simply wasn't persuaded by the business model (he's wrong btw, but that's his POV). I'm as ready to hate on Fox News as the next guy but this interview was actually pretty innocuous and easy-going.

Silly with the "pass" and "fail" cards or judgement. It would be a great interview without the judgement. They way they introduce him as "quirky keyboards and funny internet videos" is honestly insulting. They make no mention of his insane musical talent and feel. People love his personality, but nobody would watch his videos and they wouldn't have millions of views if the the songs weren't actually incredible. His talent and feel as a musician is more than enough for all the credit and attention he's gathered on this platform.
