His dribbling in this season was by far below his dribbling level during the previous seasons but more beautiful and still impressive. He actually was close to his prime in dribbling against Villarreal Home and Bilbao Home but wasn’t consistent enough in this aspect in that season…

His prime dribbling was from 2001 to 2007. The season that he was impressive in my opinion were the first one at Barca 2003/04 (best season in my opinion) second at PSG 2004/05 and third the 2002/03 at PSG. Even if all people think about the 2005/06.

⁠@@mike0133I don’t think 03/04 was a better dribbler than 04/05, the only performance where he seemed equal in 03/04 was Real Sociedad Home but his other 03/04 performances in dribbling don’t really match the 04/05 ones. I would say his prime in dribbling is 2001-2005, his peak in was 04/05, in 05/06 there are only 2 or 3 games when his dribbling was dangerous but otherwise it wasn’t that good, same with 06/07. 04/05 was definitely his peak in dribbling, he has more solo runs, know how to escape perfectly a 3v1 situation etc… He was extremely consistent in that aspect, many of his best dribbling performances ever are in this season (Zaragoza Home, Madrid Home, Levante Home, Real Sociedad Home, Racing Home, Athletico Madrid Home, Mallorca Home, Espanyol Home, Bilbao Home, Madrid Away, Getafe Home, Albacete Home, Valencia Away, Levante Away, Milan Home). There are also other great performances in dribbling during that season but I only named the best ones.
