@@yannickfinesaute1521 unfortunately, atleti's default tactic is a direct counter against juventus' default tactics. Compact lines in midfield and defense, two pressing forwards, and a great animation against wingers crossers. Overall, the 2nd leg is a big overhaul from juventus yet it's still familiar to juve's player. He tweaked player's movements here and there. allegri deserve a big standing ovation.
@giacomomallamaci56495 жыл бұрын
Another nice analysis, however I disagree about one thing: when Dybala came in for Spinazzola, Allegri didn't want to play "safer", more likely he tried to secure the round tryig to get the third goal in the 90 mins. Their formation was more like a 4-2-4 than a 4-4-2 cause as you said early in the video, Dybala doesn't defend much. Also if Allegri would have wanted play a defensive 4-4-2 he would have brought in Bentancur instead of the Argentinian and moved Matuidi as LM with Bernardeschi RM or even Caceres that often played as RB. Also when you described direct passes between Chiellini and Ronaldo, I would have highlighted that animation when Kean receive the ball and had that clear goal chance.
@vybhavbadri40025 жыл бұрын
What I like about these videos is that while even I could see to a certain degree that juve was playing a 3-1-4-2 of sorts and little bit, Piotr looks into it and gives such a great analytical view that tells you the basics that you see but then goes into the depth of it. Great stuff.

excellent analysis, although i would correct you about the position of bernardeschi: unlike matuidi, he was free to move in his half of the pitch. Piotr, whats the difference between a second strike, a false 9 and a number 10?
@moonknightish5 жыл бұрын
A false 9 is a striker that drops deep, creating spaces for the wingers to push inside the box. A second striker, which can often be a number 10, is an half midfielder/half striker who plays around the number 9, supporting him. A number 10, in classic football, is the fantasista, the creator, the genius of the team.

I believe Ronaldo and Messi are two G.O.A.Ts, we are so lucky to get a chance to live in their era. Though I believe Messi is more skillful The reason is I prefer Ronaldo over Messi is his attitude of a champion everytime. There was time Messi leading in Ballon D'or race 4-1 and many pundits predicted Ronaldo over because his dribbling, physical strength, power was declining because of age. Watching Ronnie evolving himself into a poacher understanding his age and body demands making me admire him more. He can adapt into any system and anywhere. I always wanted to see Messi play in different league in a different system so that we can witness how he create the same magic elsewhere though I have no doubt in ability to deliver. Messi is so loyal and a Barca heart. That's understandable. Gerrard, Totti.. they were all like that. But sticking to the same team means you're always in your comfort zone. You never know or never experience how far you can go.

@@PiotrFoot okay, I think I understand. It sounds like they continued a high-risk strategy till they got the 2nd goal, and then mitigated their risks by holding on to the ball more as you suggest. Juve only got a third goal in the 86th minute, which is fairly late. Things could have spilled over into extra time, and it sounds like Juve preferred that option instead of opening themselves to the counter between the 2nd and 3rd goals. I wonder how things would have played out if they'd continued at that "tempo". A CL knockout game is maybe not the place to experiment with that, but I'm hoping Allegri can explore that in the Serie A.
