Brazil's match Ronaldo was playing..Ronaldo got a through ball and in a sec he was one on one with the keeper..I was tensed at that moment he will score or not..but with his one stepover feint he get past the keeper and scored ..that moment I can still see Infront of my eyes..Ronaldo..truely Fenomeno.

Hi man! For me he is the greatest I saw too. I mean the moves he made, the skills he made... it was unbelievable every time he touched the ball. I have never seen a player like him, and I think I never will. A man who can destroy such as defenders like Maldini, Nesta, Desailly, Thuram or Stam. @@palkogabor yeah even I as someone that grew up in the Messi/Christiano era think Ronaldo is the best ever. I think that there is a difference between being the greatest and the best. The greatest is about what the player did to football. Now of course Ronaldo has been a big influence as the first superstar and 'the invententor' of new skills and many other things, but I really don't know who the greatest of all times is since you also have Cruijff who is the inventor of total/modern football and basically made FC Barcelona big. And Pelé is the first of greats, an inspiriation. Ronaldo is undoubtedly the best ever tho.

Everybody calls Ronaldo Da Lima the best football player of all times, while he was unlucky and had unbelievable tragic events in his football career. I will mention some of them. 1) Injuries. Mainly the career ending injury when his knee went out after his front knee patela exploded in 1999 vs that damn game vs Lazio. 2) One of his most important games vs France in the World Cup final in 1998 where he had a convulsion and went to the hospital and he was obviously unfit to play the game. We all know he was forced to play (blackmailed by Nike) , while he was barely running on the pitch.. 3) He's fame and unbelievable skills made him being wanted by all big clubs in the World, and he was jumping club after club his first years of professional football career ( Cruzeiro --> Eindhoven --> Barcelona --> Inter Milan ) ,witch is more difficult to get to know the team , the coach philosophy , the style of every League/country that he played is totally different, very difficult to adapt in a couple of months.From Brazilian style to Dutch style , then La Liga style and the Seria A style in Italy. Mesi played only in Barca and La Liga for example... 4) Italian league, Serie A of the 90's. The best defenders of the world and all the best players played there! The most difficult league ever by far. Defenders : Giorgio Chiellini (Juventus), Javier Zanetti (Inter), Cafu (Roma), Lillian Thuram (Parma), Alessandro Nesta (Lazio), Fabio Cannavaro (Parma), Franco Baresi (AC Milan), Paolo Maldini (AC Milan), Costacurta (AC Milan). And other great players like : Batistuta, Crespo, Veron, Ayala, Pirlo, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Zidane, Kanu, Zamorano, Totti, Desailly , Boban, Panucci, Weah, Sevchenko, Nedved, Mihailovic, Simeone, Albertini, Serginio, Conceicao, Favalli, Marcelo Salas, and many more great players. 5) He gain weight because he had an illness, he had hypo thyroidesm...which makes you gain weight, and that was seen on him after 2003 season playing for Real. 6) I have never seen a player being guarded by 2-3 guys after his first touch with the ball! All eyes on him and all dirty tackling on him otherwise you couldn't stop him! Ronaldo Da Lima Nazario is the best ever! He did things with the ball that nobody ever seen before...he had grace and style, and combined with amazing speed he was a true force of power !
