Watched this live. His stop start bust of pace is the best iv ever seen. People don’t realise how strong Ronaldo was. The man was an absolute unit at 17 years old. He wasn’t afraid to mix it up with the best of them. Combined upper and lower body strength to hold off defenders and suddenly leave them for dead on the spot. Once he was past the defender he wasn’t being caught. blessed with natural skill and ability he is the total package in football terms. Had he not had both knee injuries I believe without any doubt he would be recognised the world over as the greatest player to ever play the game. Scored both great and beautiful goals. The perfect player.

This wasn’t the united you see today back then united was goal scoring monsters. Even though myself and 76 thousand united fans was there to cheer united on we was really there to see one man. Ronaldo R9. The atmosphere was amazing. Ronaldo had an aura that made him look like a god. He stood out from the rest he knew he was above everyone in terms of ability. His physical presence stood out from everyone on the pitch. Every time he received the ball 76 thousand people stood up in anticipation of what he was going to do next. He destroyed United single handed that night. He scored a hat trick that seen Madrid go through to the next round. He was substituted in the closing stages of the game. As he was walking off the pitch 76 thousand people stood up out of respect and gave Ronaldo a standing ovation. Everyone was clapping the great man. The place was in admiration of what he had just done. A home team supporters giving away teams players standing ovations are rare in football. We knew we had just witnessed greatness. It was a pleasure watching him perform and I’m lucky I got to see it with my own eyes not once but twice.

We can not measure how strong he could reach if he didn't get serious knee injuries. ❤💗❤ Ronaldo Nazario is the greatest football player in my heart. If he didn't get serious knee injuries and become overweight (free from training) , he would improve to be the strongest one and could play far better than what he did that we have seen. From 2002 he did't improve or develop his talents anymore and became slower and slower and couldn't perform vigorously because afraid of his chronic injuries relapse. He is the real king of striker 😍
