This game was super, super underrated and offered an alternative to FIFA and Pro Evo. I still think Actua Soccer 2 is the greatest football game of all time but this is still a great game.

There used to be loads of different football games available until EA sucked the life out of the market with exclusive licences. Red card soccer was a particular favourite of mine.

Companies shouldn't care about going for licenses, they should just focus on making an enjoyable FUN football game. All they've gotta do is give us an in depth editor that allows us to install our own kits/logos like PES then it'll make licenses irrelevant.
