you miss American pride like I said when I responded and wrote a message. you want American pride back you stop our education system turning our little kids into little liberals that's the problem and for those of us who are between the ages of 40 and 55 we need to reach out to our children and get in their asses and make them start teaching their children that are being taught liberal ways what it's like to be a Ronald Reagan conservative because the last time I looked I am 52 years old and if I could go back I would want to go back to the '80s when President Reagan was our president because when I went to school we were not being brainwashed into progressive liberal communist ways. we need to start spreading the word we need to start attacking social media because they are the problem the school system is the problem and if we don't get to our children and get our children who have children which are our grandkids if we don't make them stand up to the schools and stop with their liberal b******* we're done is a nation we're damn near there right now

@@OneStepAhead608 Reagan did not unite us; there were quite a number of people that didn't like him (I remember, but it seemed like the most radical of these people wouldn't have liked anything that was remotely considered "conservative" among their "groupthink" community, & might have most disliked Reagan's environmental policies. Other, more moderate liberals were uncertain of his defense & monetary policies). Thankfully, Reagan didn't care. He extended a warm & sincere welcome to everyone to "join the program", but wasn't going to change direction to appease those who would never approve of him or his policies anyway. Reagan knew where & who most his support base was. Trump was similar to Reagan in this way, but Trump doesn't have the pleasant & sincere manner & character that Reagan had.

I'm stunned at the incivility of congress over the last few years. Reagan and O'Neill had differing philosophies and politics but they had a mutual respect for each other. I yearn for those days.

I mean if you are a Republican president in a more dominant democrat congress why would you want to talk to people like Chuck Schumer and Nancy pelosi who are not going to budge on any issue because of the liberals. At least when Ronald Reagan and tip O'Neill were having discussions they came from similar backgrounds so that made them relatable. There is nothing relatable about Nancy pelosi and Chuck Schumer it's like they're from a different planet than you are.

@@attiepollard7847 Pelosi and Schumer are now far leftist and the far left will never compromise just as much as the far right. You can work with just a liberal. They are not extreme and these liberals do love their country. But the Democrats today are now mixed with Marxism and hate our country. That is where we are today. Too extreme. Leftist gather their ideology from Marxism and Marxist believe in full control of the people. The Democrats of the past were just liberals. Today, I don't believe there are any liberals in congress anymore. Just Democrat Marxist.

This is the man who turned my life around. I was a Democrat through and through. He gave the speech of all speeches with his '' It's time to choose '' speech and i recommend every Democrat to listen to that speech. His words were strong and pertain to were we are today.
