Dude, you REALLY need to study up on the Bush family. The last thing I would call ANY of them is "gentlemen." From old Prescott Bush down to Dubya and his brother the "goovenur" of Florida this family pulled some major league crap in their day.

I think and my opinion that Ronald Reagan was the last great American president. They compare Trump to him and I like Trump but there is no comparison. I was 16 when Mr.Reagan went in office and I dont think the country has ever been the same since the day he left office I have nothing against any president except for 1 but it was way before my time. RIP Mr and Mrs Reagan.

@@shahrulamar5358 Well, I've been in politics myself for over 20 years and I won't deny election fraud occurs. Even in areas of my own state. Or in places like Cook County Illinois where dead people vote! Was there fraud in the 2020 election? Yes, most likely there was fraud of all different kinds. But was it enough to put sleepy Joe in when Trump really won? I seriously doubt it because they did all those recounts which were supervised. It wasn't like 2000 where the Supreme Court refused to let the Florida votes get counted which, if they did, Gore would have won! I mean, I'm not happy Trump lost. I think Biden is very bad for the country. But I don't think it was that bad of a fix. I'm not sure if you could even organize that big of an operation across so many states!

Makes me sad watching this. And the reception in the blue room is very different to how I imagined it. I always thought that it would be just the Reagans and the Bushes and the Quayles, the three couples having coffee and cake and talking about the inauguration. Instead it was a noisy gathering with far too many people.

Actually it’s to be only the President and President-Elect and First Lady And outgoing First Lady and the Vice President and Vice President-Elect. But it all changed with this transition since Reagan was handing over the WH to his Vice President. Ironically the Quayle’s rode to the White House for Tea and coffee with the President-Elect .

Just a tad bit of history for you guys. Back when Eisenhower was the president elect, he refused to enter the White House until he was actually president (that was his excuse), in effect, snubbing the Truman's who had already prepared the "special spread" as Harry called it. So Truman refused to ride in the car with him to the inauguration. It was Mrs. Truman (who hated Washington) who told him "you aren't going to keep us here one minute longer than we have to be" and convinced him to ride in the car.

Those were Fleetwood Broughams and Fleetwood series 75's. What I get a kick out of were all the Chrysler New Yorker 5th Avenues that were in that motorcade. This, of course, was due to the governments bail out of Chrysler in the early 80's and a deal was struck for the federal government to use Chrysler vehicles. Most of them were "K cars" but for ceremonies like this, they bumped up to the most luxurious model, the 5th avenue. By the Dubya Bush administration they had all but disappeared and Lincoln Town Cars were used.

So Now What If Ronald Reagan Didn’t Become President Of The United States In 1980 If Either he didn’t decide to run or if he had failed to get The Nomination For The Republican And What If George H. W. Bush had been Nominated and elected over Jimmy Carter and had served in his place from 1980 to 1988 And Exactly What kind of Course would Bush have taken The Country Down for those 8 long years and how would The Iran Hostage Crisis Have ended for him in 1981 and also would there been a Teacher In Space Program And The Challenger Space Shuttle By The year 1986 Disaster and also who would have taken his place in 1988 and would another Republican Candidate Like Bob Dole have become Elected to as President after George H. W. Bush and also what exactly would The Outcome Of The Panama Invasion & The Gulf War have been like ???????? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸????

Yes, in a way, it certainly was. This was back when a standard Lincoln Town Car was used but modified. Reagan had a modified Cadillac Fleetwood. It is seen here transporting, I think, The Quayles. Bush opted for a Lincoln. Then Clinton opted for another Cadillac Fleetwood. After that, the vehicles were custom built from the ground up on truck platforms and were more like a tank but made to LOOK like a car from the outside (a Cadillac). The first "beast" (the nickname for the vehicle) came on the scene with Dubya Bush.
