Hey man, just found your channel and your reviews are appreciated. I've been seeing these Voodoo Ranger IPAs everywhere and I was wondering how good they were, so it's good to hear an informed opinion about them. I generally drink IPAs but I think this is one I'd probably pass on. My local favorites are Ghost in the Machine from Parish and Swamp Thing from Bayou Teche. Cheers from Lafayette!

I'd say it's smoother and strangely lighter feeling than the Juice Force, most deceptive 9.5% abv I've ever tried (the real punch)! Still feels lacking, maybe needs more boldness haze thickness. They could try making a "Jungle Force" next - maybe rich fruits of the rainforest deep curious richness. Juice Force has that orange screwdriver or mimosa vibe, overwhelming orange but fun once in awhile. Both not a true proper IPA ibus and bitter, I agree.

I will say essentially what I did for the Juice Force, I think relative to other IPA's, I wouldn't say it's particularly great. However, given the price, availability and packaging it really is aggressively competitive to the high ABV adjunct lagers and "sugar bomb" high ABV malt beverages in the sort of convenience store single market. If we view that as it's market segment, I think it's certainly one of the best options, at the elevated ABV it holds up better than the lagers, and isn't sickening like the malt beverages can be. I would like to try the standard imperial IPA again as I can't recall the last time I have had it. Certainly not something I have purchased frequently, I can't exactly recall which I liked better, the Juice Force or the Fruit Force.

Fr lol the difference a 6% plus ABV from a regular light 4%beer be hitting you faster/stronger .Nice to be sipping on over time, be feeling good half way done with the can

I was making my seasonal rounds on the craft beer websites from my glory days of beer drinking (Deschutes, Full Sail, Sierra Nevada, etc), and...man, I just don't recognize the portfolios anymore. It's all hazy this, juicy that. Most of the varieties that I once loved have been shelved. Makes me feel redundant and left behind haha. Anyway, another top notch review, sir! Cheers.

For a nice, strong flavored beer, it's really not bad. With that said, I don't think I'll get it again. My local convenience store has it stocked right next to the Sierra Nevada Torpedos and I still have a hard time finding a better beer than that

I can not taste alcohol in the Voodoo Ranger Fruit Force. And at 9.5 ABV, it hits the WOW factor. And I would say after 3 or of these fruity beers, one would find themselves on an island unto themselves. Lol

Also, I forgot to give my thoughts on Fruit Force, This "beer" is absolute trouble. It's way too strong and tastes like fruit punch and I could see younger drinkers getting into a lot of trouble drinking a few of these.

I didn't care for this one. Too gimmicky for me. That fruit punch flavoring gets really old really quick. And now they have a "Citrus Force" as well that is blood orange flavored. I had one of those, they were a bit better in my opinion.
